- Rey Mysterio's WWE contract expires later this month and while there hasn't been a new deal signed yet, it's expected. Word is that they're looking at a deal where Rey would wrestle limited dates and spend more time as a brand ambassador for Latin America, which is really what he's been doing lately anyway.

- WWE NXT talent Cole Andrews, whose real name is Stephen Good, has reportedly been released from his contract. He was an offensive lineman from the University of Oklahoma. For what it's worth, he hasn't been active on social media since late February.

- The reason Alberto Del Rio pinned Big E clean a second time in non-title matches is because WWE officials are planning on having the two feud for the Intercontinental Title after WrestleMania XXX. A match is currently scheduled for Extreme Rules in May.

I think having ADR feuding for the IC title means creative are trying to bring relevance back to the IC title and have it as a stepping stone to the World Title like it used to be. Now all they need to do is abolish the US Title

I have no problem with Del Rio getting his hands on the IC title, it actually seems like a good fit. I just assumed it would be the title Cesaro would go after he and Swagger disband...

Would a ADR vs Big E feud help elevate the belt though?

Big E has lost a lot of momentum and though Del Rio is great in the ring, he sucks the life out of the room with his lack of charisma.
Big E is kind of awkward and blah with his mic work too.

How will these two be able to carry an interesting enough feud?

Yeah, hopefully Rey can stick around for a bit and collect well deserved money. I guess I am alright with Del Rio going after the IC title, i just hope it can gain prestige again.

Are you kidding? Have you not seen Del Rio's booking this past year? That's not what it means at all, It just means Del Rio is in the mid-card for the time being.

Hm, we need to elevate this title belt to mean something.

Lets put the guy who's been champion for about 5 months and done fuck all of any significance except win a few matches via association with John Cena which has now seemingly evaporated, is completely unproven on the microphone and in singles feuds and pair him up against the guy we've given a Wrestlemania main event, four world titles, Money in the Bank, and the victory in the biggest Royal Rumble in history, but could be released tomorrow yet nobody would realise for 6-8 months, and even less would care.

You wanna escalate the title? Stick it on Reigns or Cesaro and have them run through every heel on the roster for 10 months before being rewarded with a world title shot at the next Royal Rumble.

Del Rio's already beaten Big E cleanly in short matches more than once recently. If they want them to feud for the IC, build a feud instead of letting them go the Sheamus/Christian way.

I'm all for them trying to give the IC title some build. ADR needs to take the title though and have a strong presence with it, it desperately needs some credibility, when they put it on Big E it looked like they were making an effort and then it just stalled.

To be fair, these two would be a good way of doing a Benoit/Booker "best of" series. Since neither man is that strong character-wise, just letting them put on good matches for the IC belt would be cool, and then culminate at a PPV. It would add some cred to the title, too. Since there would actually be something gong on for it.
