a couple of things.

1) Get some better cuts,

2) Don't make them as faded as that,

3) The background colour could be improved upon.

Yeah, it does kinda suck my ball sack. That background just looks like a pattern. You can barely make out the text. You should probably make it more like a banner and less like a splash.
