Hello everyone, some of you might already know me, but just in case you don't my name is Abdel Zerradi and I'm from Brooklyn, New York. I have been writing Fantasy Wrestling all over the net for almost 2 years right now. I've been part of many groups in the past and the one that most of you might know is RFI (Room For Improvement) on prowrestling.com. Anyway, after a long absence from the writing scene, I decided to make another come back and start a new saga, only this time I decided to start with short show results until I pick the pace again and start getting more detailed like I love doing. Now that the introduction is out of the way, let's get into the back story of my new saga.
Feeling that it was time to do something new with World Wrestling Entertainment, Chairman of the board Vince K. McMahon decided to pass his powers as owner of the WWE to his elder son Shane McMahon and give him full control over the multi-national corporation. With a new boss in charge, a lot of changes has been made to ensure that this restart will bring nothing but benefits to the business; therefore, Shane McMahon went on and released some of the talents that the creative team couldn't come up with ideas for, sent some wrestlers down to Ohio Valley Wrestling to enhance their wrestling skills before being brought back the active roster, and also signed a handful of free agents to bring the company's legacy back to its highest peek.
WWE Resurrection Day Preview:
The first WWE show under the new chairman Shane McMahon comes to you live from the world's most famous arena - Madison Square Garden. According to the new Mr. McMahon, the new era of WWE will be unlike any other as he will be present at every show handling all the authority tasks for the show. Shane has decided that he will not be appointing any General Manager or Commissioner to ensure that the show runs smoothly, but instead he will be the one signing the matches and organizing each and every WWE show or Pay-per-view.
Shane McMahon will be making all the announcements concerning the vacant championship belts and how they will be decided. Therefore, make sure you tune in for Resurrection Day, the first World Wrestling Entertainment show for the year of 2005!

Written by: Abdel ‘Phenomenal’ Zerradi
WWE Resurrection Day kicks off with the new chairman of the WWE in the ring and the fans cheering in anticipation as a new notch in the history of wrestling and sports-entertainment will be marked here tonight live from the world’s most famous arena. Shane explains how the WWE was turned over to him and guarantees that things will definitely change for the better because ‘there is a new sheriff in town!’ Shane says that Monday Nights will host a new show by the name of ‘Breakdown’, which will begin at 7:00 P.M Eastern Time. The new Mr. McMahon announces that tonight we will witness the crowning of a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion as fifteen men will square off in a traditional over the top rope battle royal! Shane says that the match will include the biggest names in the history of WWE and wrestling as a whole.
*I’M ALL GROWN UP*
The new chairman gets interrupted as “All grown up” by James Alan Johnston plays and Stephanie McMahon walks to the ramp for the first time in over a year. Steph gets into Shane’s face and explains that she’s against Vince handing over 100% of the company’s ownership to his oldest son because she had contributed to this business as much as anyone in the McMahon family. Shane replies by saying that she should go talk to Dad about it instead of causing a problem in Live TV. Steph says she’s a McMahon and she can do what she wants when she wants. Shane says that this is his show and if he wanted he could have removed from the building by security. Steph says that he does not need to bring a bunch of old bums to show her the way but she will make herself clear, as long as she does not have legal authority in the WWE, this place will always be a living hell one way… or another. Steph then slaps Shane hard across the face and quickly exits the ring and backs up the ramp as Shane stands in the middle ring with a stunned expression on his face.
*Commercial Break*
We come from the break and get a quick replay of the events that occurred between Shane and Stephanie and we get a shot of Shane during the break in his office announcing that he promises this type of behavior by his sister will not be tolerated as long as he’s in power and that this is the last time she will be let into the building without a backstage pass. Shane announces that up next, six of WWE’s top cruiserweights will square off in a 6 Way Elimination Match to crown the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
We head back to the ring as the commentators quickly go through the rules in this match: elimination can occur by pin fall, submission, knockout or disqualification, and the last man standing will be crowned Cruiserweight Champion

Suddenly, Mysterio turned around into a vital chair shot to the head from a hooded man! The man took off his hood and was revealed as… AJ Styles!!! Styles picked up Mysterio and nailed the Styles Clash and went outside to grab a microphone. Styles sent a message to every Cruiserweight on the back telling them that the days of mediocre high-flying action in the WWE are over because ‘The Phenomenal One’ has arrived!! The cameras take us to Shane McMahon’s office where he brings his attention to the viewers at home and announces that he decided to bring back an old wrestling tradition back to World Wrestling Entertainment and that is the hardcore style of wrestling. Shane opens a briefcase next to him and pulls out a brand new shiny belt and positions it in front of the camera and announces that next week on the first episode of Breakdown, we will crown the first ever WWE Extreme Champion in a no rules straight up hardcore match pitting ‘The Man Beast’ Rhyno, ‘The Ultimate Loner’ Raven and the returning ‘Human Wrecking Machine’ Tazz! The two shake hands and Eddie leaves and as soon as he steps out of the door, he bumps into new WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio. Rey goes to greet his old time friend but Guerrero just pushes him off and tells him to get out of his way and walks away.

Tazz vs. Rhyno
The Man Beast missed a Gore that caused him to fall to Tazz’s Tazzmission but as it looked like Rhyno was going to tap out to the submission hold, the lights went out in the arena and “Straight out of line” by Godsmack started playing. When the lights came back on, Raven was standing in the ring with a chair in hand!! Raven let the weapon crash into Tazz’s back which caused him to release the hold. Raven continued nailing Tazz with a series of vicious chair shots to the back before lifting him up and dropping him with a Raven Effect into the chair!!!!! Raven then turned his attention to Rhyno who was trying to get back to his feet but ‘The Ultimate Loner’ cut him off short by a vicious chair shot to the head!!! Raven grabbed ‘The Man Beast’ and delivered another Raven Effect on the already bent down chair!! Tazz and Rhyno both lay in the floor in a pool of blood while Raven stood in the middle of the ring with his hands high in the air and a steel chair in hand.

HHH says that he came here to bury the hatchet and start a new page, he wishes him good luck in the battle royal and may the best man win. Rock shakes HHH’s hand and informs that the hatchet might be buried but the memories will always live on. Rock says he’s walking out of here WWE Champion and there is nothing Hunter can do about it. HHH says that Rock is wrong, that title is already his, because the title WWE World Heavyweight Champion equals Triple H, suddenly a knock is heard on door as someone walks in laughing, the camera turns over to the doorway and we see… Stone Cold Steve Austin!!! HHH and The Rock look to be surprised as Austin walks in and greets them both with taps the back.
