Anyone played the new one? Wow! MASSIVE improvement, feels more realistic on the pitch than FIFA does. Good to have TWO great footy games this year and not just the one.

The game seems like same old crap, with minor tweaks. It makes me sad to say that this is the first time in like my whole PlayStation player life (since ISS 98 or so) that I won't buy PES.

Its the best footy sim IMO, a lot more realistic than FIFA, the teams all play different, ML beats CM by a mile, BAL owns BAP so much it's quite sad and club boss mode is brilliant

What is ML and CM, BAL and BAP? I only play friendly matches in FIFA or tournaments once in a while, so these slangs are kinda unknown to me.

I might give this game a try next week. I'm a sucker for soccer.

CM = Career Mode
BAL = Be a Legend
BAP = Be a Pro

Truly, this game is great. Rent it if you're unsure.

Late reply I know, but I agree with OP, I'm loving this game. Haven't felt this good playin PES since PES 6.

what's the point of having the champions league license if you have a third of the teams involved? also the commentary is abysmal, somehow worse than FIFA's.

Haven't played the full game but played the Demo and hated that. May give the full game a go in the future but unsure.
