Should be a great match, Orton will likely win though. If Orton didn't lose to Del Rio on last weeks Smackdown I would think Ziggler would have some chance in this match and a win over Orton would be great for his credibility right now, but Orton's not going to lose two weeks in a row on Smackdown.

Obvious Orton has been Sheamus knight on shining armor for a while Ziggler needs to put him on his place, which is funny taking into account before the suspension Orton looked like was going to turn heel on Sheamus.

Really? Winner is obvious? Just like how winner last week was obvious, cause everyone knew Del Rio would not only beat Orton, but he made him tap out(cleanly)

Orton vs Del Rio for the #1 contendership is a lot different than Orton vs Ziggler for nothing. Not to mention, Del Rio is more credible than 10 Ziggler's. I don't think anybody thought Del Rio would make Orton tap, but Ziggler isn't beating Orton. Ziggler is going to be completely on the outside of the main event picture until he cashes in the briefcase.

I don't know, my gut tells me that Ziggler is still just going to get ran over by Orton.
I would agree with you, but come on. Ziggler is going to be booked terribly until he finally cashes in the MITB. Then again, he did beat Jericho. Hmmmmmmmm. I don't know, booking seems to be bi-polar as of late.

About time they let Ziggler face someone one on one in the main event. Randy Orton vs Ziggler, shall be interesting, but very predictable.

Anyways, Ziggler needs to keep wracking up wins. People seem to think Orton will be a sure win, but I don't know about that. Ziggler has beaten Jerico, and Orton just lost to Del Rio. Perhaps for once the WWE will switch it up and Ziggler will steal one out somewhat legit.
Do they have non championship matches at NOC? I suppose they could. Perhaps to substitute a title they'll put Ziggler's case on the line... but then again Orton has to put something on the line too. Though isn't he going to shoot a movie soon? If he plans on leaving for a bit they could do another contract stipulation.

Which, technically, they'll actually be doing, since Ziggler, despite jobbing, is consistently established as having worked main event matches, and Randy Orton is a future world champion.

And here's the thing, even if it did matter, people seem to forget Jericho was leaving. WWE didn't just decide one day "Oh, hey, wouldn't it be awesome if Ziggler beat Jericho?". No, it happened because he needed a way out of the company. Del Rio beat Orton just.....because it's Del Rio, basically and they wanted to give him credibility going into the PPV. It might have had a little to do with Orton's suspension, but certainly it's nowhere near to the degree that the Jericho win for Ziggler was in the sense of, you can definitively point out the only reason that it happened, which is a rarer, non every day scenario that wouldn't regularly occur and doesn't reflect on how they use the person they put over.
Dude, it's JERICHO. Seriously. Think about that for a second. It. Was. Jericho. The guy who let Heath Slater and Evan Bourne beat him clean. The guy who got knocked out by Mickey Rourke. Beating him doesn't matter.
