It wasn't like that back in the day. To avoid this, Teddy Long was smart about it. He would give us...a TAG TEAM MATCH!
This way, we get a taste of the PPV singles match by seeing the wrestlers go against each other in a tag team match.
In this case, he would give Orton a tag partner and give Batista a tag partner. It's TAG TEAM MATCH TIME!!

I hope Batista disses the DC crowd. If he comes off as a face happy to be back home he will booed. It's better for him to just crap on the crowd and DC in general.

Pretty sure its going to end in a screwy DQ finish after 5 minutes anyways so whats the complaint here? Its a good warm up match between the two, I think its a good idea.
