- Look for John Cena and CM Punk to work a lot more SmackDown tapings in the future, with a lot of dark main event appearances. The feeling is that Randy Orton was sent to SmackDown for drawing power but now that’s not enough.
Among the wrestlers, the feeling is that they are stretching Cena thin and the comment was made that it’s no surprise Cena is getting divorced because he’s never home. There’s also a feeling among the wrestlers that WWE is running the top guys ragged and that’s never a good thing.
Dave sold ticketsthe fact nobody wants to see smackdown is far from orton's fault, he has no help, i bet everybody that does attend a smackdown event these days come to see orton, but one person cannot carry a show, you give me one person who did it and i'll green rep you, the smackdown roster sucks big time, that's wwe's fault, not orton's
To be fair, I think everyone on the Smackdown roster knows that WWE doesn't care about Smackdown. When more people buy Cena merchandise at Smackdown house shows than an actual Smackdown Superstar, it's obvious. WWE doesn't book the show well enough for people to want to attend and Cena/CM Punk coming over won't do anything to help attendance because the poor booking will remain. Orton was a poor choice to lead a brand (he was never going to fill that role), but it made sense more than trying to ruin Cena's or CM Punk's momentum by giving them that spot.Must feel great for the current Smackdown roster being told that people from Raw are coming to save there show. Way to make your roster feel like crap WWE! Great job.
Orton has never been a draw.PWInsider
The "Feeling" is always too late for WWE.
