Orange Cassidy’s no selling and super push is ruining AEW for me.

After seeing this the whole injury angle with OC makes no sense. If the guy is getting injured every match why is he kicking out from deadly moves?

The guy is the absolute shits. The only good match he ever had was against Gigi Dolin.

Honestly if I have to hear that fucking shit entrance music to open every bastard week.

How does he get 20 mins every Wednesday while the Wardlow’s, Acclaimed et al of this world are lucky to get a backstage segment once a month?!

But he does sell in every match.
And he is selling the accumulative damage he has accrued from his reign and I don't think I have seen anyone else in pro wrestling do that.
They usually no sell the previous week's punishment the body has taken, unless they are going for a worked injury angle.

His storyline is the best and most consistent in AEW and my favourite part of the show, at least

I think at this point though, keep the superman push going till the crowd turns on him and then turn him heel.

The crowd was so mild and they were booing the boring antics. The crowd did not cheer freshly squeezed. Even the live crowds are becoming sick of the act. Just a few folks on here who ain't sick of him.

How would a heel Orange Cassidy look like?

Maybe when he puts his hands in pockets he brings out two water guns to squirt at his opponents with black water which was mixed with Danhausen spell.

OC is a great wrestler, and his run has been fun to watch, but it is getting a bit old hat at this point. He's best when he can give a good match to someone like Buddy Mathews or Bandido that need more exposure in singles matches in a prominent timeslot.

But I have to admit I didn't give a flying fuck about this weeks match against Kyle Fletcher. Dudes a tag team wrestler, in a team that isn't over, in another company.

Just completely pointless.

Unless because of Aussie Open's connection to Ospreay and the United Empire this is setting up a rematch for Forbidden Door so that NJPW can have one of their guys win a title for a change. It's the International title, why not let that thing float around a couple different companies for a while.

I like Orange Cassidy moderately but this current streak of wins and matches he does is God tier in damage resistance and isn't believable in the slightest.

I'm over it.

He's really not though. All his matches seem to open Dynamite which is when it has its peak viewership from the Big Bang Theory lead-in. So Khan is continually putting him in a slot that has the most eyes. It's basically the opposite of curtain jerking.

To be fair, the guy doesn't no sell, but whatever the hell the idea behind him kicking out of everything that can be thrown at him in match after match after match is... I don't know, we'll see. I hope it's about more than just the cheap pop in the moment. He better not lose it in this Battle Royal, that's for sure. The setup is perfect for someone like Hobbs to just destroy him.

This is tv, not a PPV. Opening a show or starting the second hour usually means you are gonna get the highest viewership just about every week.
