Hey, I think I have to be honest with myself my banners are not the quality that i would hope (OZ etc). So I am calling in the help of you guys to tell me what I should try. I have already had some good suggestions of size changes but If you can have a look at these banners and tell me what types I should steer away from and what I need to make them Oh so much better.

You backgrounds are really wavey, and on most of them, it is really appearant what you did on them.

i feel u could blend the PSD's in a little better, and try using some lighting effects

I agree with Tabula. You need to give them some more effects. Try scan lines, and other stuff. Play around and come up with new styles.

You could try what I do.. i try making wrestlers the backgrounds of my banners... play around with the opacity.. and you could try using more layer styles on your text, try stroke to give an extra outline to your text... i do that most of the time..
