Let me start off by saying, I tried to post this once, and there was an error, so I am retyping the damn thing.

Ok, my town has nothing to do for teenagers. No big concerts, no mall or other hangout. It's even illegal to go cruising.I went to a concert last night, which is really rare to have here as I said. It was just some locals bands outside my guitar teachers shop. It started at 8 and was a Friday. It got closed down at a little after 10 because it was too loud. I personally think the cop was just being an ass. There are houses around there, but there are also businesses and a highway right by. Two of the five acts didn't even get to go. There was nothing going on besides the bands playing. There was only about 100 people there too. This was not me personally who saw this next part, but somebody told me about it. The band that was going to go next went and played in a church with a private concert, and some old people called the cops because they thought the kids were stealing stuff. This town wonders why kids get drunk and do drugs around here too, my God.

Least you live in a town, I live in the middle of no where. Nothing to do here, and buses only come/go from here every 2 hours, so yeah. I know how you GP.

I guess im lucky, London is only an hour away.. so i go to gigs frequently.. plus my dad offers to drive me to places on Four Star Marys tour.. aswell as going to the london gigs. Plus we have a prettty thriving local band thing.. i go to them quite a lot. There is a club i could go to aswell (and no not Amadeus, Terry) but i hate it and this guy there i know wants to knife me so no...

I live about 10-15 mins away from where local bands play so i'm lucky, even though i have not seen any yet.

Yeah that made no sense at all.

It harks back to the age old problem.

When you're young, you want to live in the centre of everything and get involved with the bright lights and activity, but can't afford to.

When you're old, you can afford to do it, but would rather live the quiet life away from all the noise and people. It's one of life's cruel little jokes, I'm afraid.

Oh, and Alexxx, I think your sig's fantastic.

I wouldn't know what that feels like...Where I am we have at least 1 gig of 3-5 bands every week, we've had 5 bands signed and 3 have been on MTV2, Lost Prophets have also played here before...so it's a pretty hot scene considering it's in Somerset.

Sucks to be you GP :p

Local bands are everywhere, major concerts are 15 mins away, 5 pubs/clubs within 400m of my house and the place is buzzing 24/7. Love it.

Hmmm i hate my town too lol, we have FUCK all and the only thing we did have was a cinema which they have now closed down, BUT they cant knock it down to build over it as it is a protected building, as the equiptment is 1 of only 3 types of working equipment of that type in the world! Now to see anything we have to travel about 8 miles (ish) BTW i live in Camberley, Surrey, UK
