I was honestly looking forward to survivor series...and I was pretty damn dissapointed like most I think.
I don't actuall mind sheamus being champ, I like the guy, but it was the way the match before was delivered. Ambrose vs reigns should have had at least 15 mins to work with. Ambrose isn't buried though, he had a championship match, that's pretty decent.
However, the biggest let down was the undertaker match...I know it's the 25th anniversary, but wouldn't it have made more sense for wyatt to go over? He would get that rub he needs and a ton of heat....now I see him 6ft under because once again, wwe made him a glorified jobber. Wyatt is one of my favourites, but now I've lost hope in wwe making him something even better.

The best match was by far Kevin Owens vs ambrose, but now that we have already seen it, we aren't gonna be as hyped for their next match (for the IC title?). It would have been better if Kevin walked out saying "I got this title, I don't need that garbage" or something like that.

Tbh, there were a lot of faults...and now I'm losing faith in the while fucking company, lets hope they have something awesome planned....

Oh, the heel turn will happen at WM.

Totally agree. The Ambrose/Reigns match was great, but just when it was reaching that 'holy shit' level of great they ended it, just for the Sheamus swerve ending, such a shame.
Undertaker and Kane looked their age in that match sadly. I guess at this stage Taker can have a great match with Lesnar and his slow, methodical ring style and against others he looks his 50 years.
Also while it was great to give Taker a milestone victory, where do you go with Bray Wyatt now? He's like the best jobber I've ever seen at this point.

I know people get pretty hysterical and overreact after most ppv's these days, something i don't really get too involved in, however since i started to become a regular viewer of the product again after WM 29, this was probably the worst ppv i have watched. Definitely the most boring. Nothing of significance happened, not one single, solitary thing. It was just one, big anti climax. There's been heaps since i started watching again, but none like this, this was absolute dog shit. The middle part of the show, the Diva's match and the elimination tag rates as nearly the most boring period of a ppv i have ever watched. People should be fired over that shit, that's how bad it was.

Gotta agree the PPV was horrible. Didn't mind the Sheamus cash in since that was the most logical path to keep the title on a heel for the chase. Turning either Reigns or Ambrose heel is dumb at this moment imo when there is no other top level babyface available. Wyatt not winning is no issue for me since I don't have a hard-on for the guy like some around here. He don't need to win matches to keep heel heat.

Not looking forward to a Sheamus vs Reigns feud that will be shit on by the silly fans.

Ummm, thats why you turn one...then you have a 'top level' (lol) babyface and a 'top level' (lol) heel. Seriously did you think before posting?

.
Its not about having a hard on, its about whats best for the future of WWE, and what they did is absolutely not good for the future of the WWE, when your only 'top level' (again, lol) heel stable is squashed by 2 ancient almost has-beens.

And who else is there for Owens/Sheamus/Del Rio to feud with? Other than promoting Kalisto as a singles wrestler against Del Rio the roster is pretty thin. Unless you think Ziggler is done with his current feud? Seriously did you think before posting?

Those 2 ancient almost has-beens are better than all of that 'top level' stable combined. I don't disagree that Wyatt is under utilised by booking but Wyatt is seriously overrated by his fans. He is just another product of nepotism that is given a pass because his gimmick is 'darker' or 'edgier'.

You're advocating keeping Ambrose babyface so he can prop up the midcarders like Del Rio. I'm advocating elevating the championship belt with a feud people can engage with, who the hell is going to engage with a Seamus feud.

They are better, but they aren't the future, they're the past.

What's wrong with propping up the US title/IC title by keeping Ambrose babyface? Sheamus would be the corporate champion in any championship feud. People always get engaged with that, which is why WWE use it as a crutch so many times.

There is room for both.

Did you watch that match? Kane was barely mobile and Undertaker looked creaky and out of gas the whole time.
Still more mobile than Rowen or Strowman. I'll give you Taker looking his age but Kane was barely mobile? What? They did their job just fine.

I mean, the card seemed alright IMO, I'm happy that Tyler won but other than that, I was left quite...bitter about the rest of the show.
Hell in a cell (most of it), royal rumble and wrestlemania make survivor series look like an episode of main event this year.

I spent all night watching vids about SS and reading and responding on boards about SS. It was all worth it and was more entertaining than the show itself. Thank you all fellow wrestling geeks.

The show was terrible. They went down one of the worst avenues possible in the world title picture, had the Wyatts lose yet another feud, had a shit ton of controversy regarding Charlotte and Paige mean nothing, and even had 2 pointless survivor series tag matches thrown in for good measure.

Good job, WWE.

The problem is the character they've given Sheamus frankly has sucked ever since he won MitB. I always see him as a monster heel just pummeling people, not some corporate bootlick hiding behind Triple-H.
I still have no idea why they thought Sheamus should have won that match.

Hates the wrong word, but yes, the discussions I've had this morning have been infinitely better than the SS I watched.

The Wyatt's are officially ruined, Taker has buried him twice now and neither time did Taker need to go over. This was just a goddamn embarrassment, and no just being in the ring with someone doesn't put you over no one will take any character seriously if they aren't fucking winning. Fuck Taker and Kane, two old ass has been's who both need to retire. And fuck all the nostalgia twats who keep supporting this shit.

I think it's the worse year PPV wise. Fucking awful shows.
