Re: Official TNA DVD/Match/Show Discussion Thread.

Trademarking is my guess. Although, Tenay said it the night he had his mask ripped. Who knows. TNA does like to create their own identities via a name change. Let us not forget Desmond Wolfe or even Jethrow Holiday.

Thank sweet lady gaga I forgot about that worthless piece of crap. I seriously think Shawn Daivari is the blandest, most nothing of note wrestler to ever live.

Kofi is trash, but at least the happy go lucky pustule has had like 5-6 solid/good bouts in his career. Daivari is 10x worse.

Re: Official TNA DVD/Match/Show Discussion Thread.

Why do so many TNA fans on this board think Alex Shelley will return the moment Chris Sabin shows up on TV again? Do they not realize he left the company for a reason/has a successful career in Japan right now or is everyone just dense?

Last part is rather hypothetical. I know the answer.

Honestly I have no desire to see the guns these days. I think Aces are the only team they could go up against? Surely Sabin being pushed as a singles guy should be the focus. I can't imagine Shelley has any desire to return (not that I'd be against it)

TNA Final Resolution 2005 - Ultimate X Match: Petey Williams vs. Chris Sabin vs. AJ Styles

Incredibly fun spotfest match that is totally in my top ten of TNA watches of all time. That was an amazing match of incredible spots and even some psychology from Styles. The crowd only added to the greatness of the match. Overall, this has to be my favorite Ultimate X match. This has a ton of "Phenomenal" spots like when Sabin hit a hurricanrana on Styles from the top of the cable, to when Sabin missile drop kicks Styles who was hanging on the cable and that turns him inside out. But for me the best spot was when Williams & Styles are climbing, Williams rams AJ's head off the steel and then wraps his arm up and rams it repeatedly he then hangs him by the arm. And that has to be the best SELLING! AJ has sold ever. The finish was pretty epic as both Sabin and Williams are having a tug of war on top of the X but all of a sudden AJ SPRINGS OFF THE ROPES ACROSS THE RING AND SNAGS THE BELT OUT OF MIDAIR! HOLY SHIT! The only real problem I have with the match was AJ's springboard forearm which totally missed William but Williams would sell it like it hit him and he would fall from the cables. That is probably the best Ultimate X match ever, IMO but maybe I might have to watch the first 2 again to see if it's close. ****1/4 - ****1/2

for sure, up till about mid 2006 it's incredibly consistent. I know you were going through the AJ/Daniels vs LAX series and that's something I want to revisit myself. Even when I watched TNA as a casual that stood out to me.

No one told me there was a new thread! :cussin:

But to keep it on topic... um, yeah, that Final resolution Ultimate X is on my top 5 matches in TNA history and by far the best UX. **** 1/2

I don't think anyone thinks he'll be back the moment Sabin returns to TV, I could see him being back late 2013/early 2014 though. Honestly, MCMG left so much to be desired after all the injuries and such, whatever I guess.
