227,000, 0.04 demo

Disappointing, that is partially explained by the NFL game drawing over 17 million viewers between the NBC and NFL Network simulcast. There is no concern from Pop though as really the whole channel is getting a kicking from NFL Thursdays plus its an ad sharing deal. Their highest demo show of the night a classic ER had only 182,000 but a 0.06 demo.
The overall number is in normal range for drop or increase. The worry is lower demo number causing them to not make Top 150.

Interesting note, people have talked about Impact trying to go back to Spike especially since they got on UK Spike. Well Spike's prime time show did not make Top 150 either and the one show they got into Top 150 was at 3:30PM, a showing of Green Latern movie. It did 268K and .10 demo finishing 118 for the day. Now Impact has been getting a bit lower than 268K during the fall but being on Spike would probably increase their numbers simply from being more available and easier to find for some fans.

Low numbers are expected. Tape 10 episodes in advance, look run down, most wrestlers gone or leaving. Gee, and I really thought they'd drive up the ratings to 400k.

I didn't see anything about self-promotion in the the forum rules, so if this sort of thing is frowned upon, I apologize, and feel free to delete this post.

I do weekly wrap-up videos of Impact called Sudden Impact. I use screencaps and clips to give the full rundown of the episode. It's not so much a dry by-the-numbers report as it is me telling dumb jokes with mediocre video editing skills. Anyway, here's last week's just as an example.

Comparison of the month by month viewership between 2016 and 2017

Thanks for the info.

Interesting that the first few months they were up compared to last year but are down month to month since then. At least Thanksgiving was on pace and actually did a slight up tick. Hopefully the new guys can get some steam going in the new year and build things back up.

Jacobs needs to be on TV all the time.
Agreed. I do like how they have been bringing him along. A bit here, a tad bit there. Not pushing him. Just enough to get a feel and leave fans wanting more.

3 on 3 and Sami-Konan was pretty damn good. Amazing even.

KOs matches were fine, but nothing else.

X div tag was bland considering Xavier and Lee are very good on indies.

Dont get the hiatus, they have plenty of content taped. Is it like they're going drag for so long? BAD.

This week did not make Top 150 again. That is sad because a demo of just .05 would have done it. So they did .04 or worse. Hopefully their overall viewership is still around the 250K range

162,000 0.02 demo

NFL Simulcast, NBA Double Header, Tribute to the Troops (which did a 1.4) - naturally Impact and Pop too by looking at the numbers are going to get their ass kicked. But Pop are keeping them for the 2018/19 season. Right time to end the year.

That is a bad number. Sure WWE was there but NFL was a non issue due to poor matchup. Hopefully this is just like a lame duck session and early next year they can start moving upward.

Quite suprised everything next is in 3 weeks but I do enjoy the old "Best of/Year in Review" Episodes they do so hopefully they'll cover next 2 weeks.

Enjoyed the tag matches, Main event & ending with Sami & Konnan was exceptional. Love that JB has carried on doing the film esque video like Lucha Underground. They suit LAX and now Callihan perfect. Laurel vs Rosemary was much better than i expected and can see the eventually Laurel vs Allie feud being good. If they can do that as well as booking the Rosemary vs Taya feud and keeping Sienna busy, then we could be looking at a strong knockout division in 2018.

We may lose a few more talent before next tapings but I still love the talent on hand and as a viewer, feel that there has been progress in the divisions: X Division, Tag, Knockout & World. To me the Grand Championship needs its own style and division eg pure wrestling, submission and a bit of MMA to fits its proper purpose.

And you are deluded.

Pops highest number of the night was ER at 172,000 with a 0.05 demo. They got their ass kicked as a whole. A lot of wrestling fans make really dumb comparisons to what happened with WCW.

I used to be a big TNA fan back in the day, but give it up dude. You're clinging onto lost hope I feel.
