I dlnt know if anyone agrees with this, but I feel it's sinking D Byran. They've took his own quote off him and used to his disadvantage.
It maybe to sell the 'no' t-shirts? I don't know.

I prefered him when he was an arsehole and didn't care (tweener/heel); about 3 weeks ago.

I was wondering what others thought of this?

Relax. The yesyesyes chants were never supposed to get him over as a face. They were supposed to be annoying and get him over as a heel. The WWE had two options they could have turned Bryan face, or keep him as a heel and use the chants against him. I'm glad they went this way, Bryan is too good as a heel and this chant reminds me a lot of the "You suck" chants against Angle. It's fun for the crowd and entertaining to watch IMO.

As said above, it's fun for the crowd.. anytime you can get the crowd going for a match (or anytime you're on TV), that's only going to increase your stock. Every wrestler just wants a REACTION, positive or negative, that shows the crowd is invested in what's going on.

I genuinly don't think the Yes Yes/No No bit was meant to take off the way it did,; but I'm glad that it has. The Bryan bit at the moment, for me is superb. The gradually getting more and more insane as the crowd get more intense angle is remenisent of the late 90's early 2000's. Also, his in ring ability is still shinning through so it's win win for me.

How is this destroying him if it just makes him more intense? If anything it makes him even better. Now he is a real heel instead of just being a tweener. Yes or No does not matter as long as people chant it. Be glad he is not somewhere way down the card and enjoy his current run..who knows it might be shorter than you think... you might have something more to bitch bout than some catchphrase that got popular if that happens.

It's not wrong, he's a HEEL. He's doing whatever he can to work the crowd. He's still over. I understand AJ has literally stole the catchphrase and made it hers, but everything you see outta DB is working perfectly towards a his "HEEL" character, it only keeps progressing. Only thing is, he keeps jobbing.

difference was that people were chanting yes with daniel Bryan, and the you sucks were to make fun of Angle. Different scenarios.

Its probably a bad business decision because the yes chants will always be more popular than the no chants, and a no shirt probably wont sell as well. :/

At first I was pissed because I thought they were trying to bury him, but it's actually getting the 'yes' chants more over, both Bryan fans and marks are chanting it now. When he eventually turns face he'll be ridiculously over.

No No No is genius. It takes advantage of "Yes" as the most over catchphrase in the WWE, but doesn't force him to become a stale babyface that panders with the same old shit, just because it's over. It's actually getting him more heat than he's ever had, and he's still having great matches to boot. Three Cheers Danny Boy.
