Hello, all:
I wanted to introduce everyone here to New Heights Wrestling. We're a wrestling promotion in northern Florida/southern Alabama. We just recently signed a TV deal and are hoping to expand into more markets. I'd like to invite everyone to view a complete episode of NHW TV that we uploaded to Youtube, commercials included.

We'd love feedback from wrestling fans here on this board.
Specifically, if you could keep the following questions in mind as you view it:

Specifically, if you could keep the following questions in mind as you view it:
- What do you think of the camera angles?
- What do you think of the editing? Is it too aggressive or not aggressive enough?
- What do you think of the lighting? Does it add a dramatic effect or is it just too dark?
- If you had to guess, how big would you say the venue is?
- If NHW TV came on TV in your area, would you watch?
- What do you think of the contestants in the main event, Paul Jordane and Mike Facen? Big league potential?

* I realise the angles are done due to venue size and to minimise the reality of the crowd attendance figure but when done during the wrestlers' entrances (Ox's especially) it doesn't feel well made and a ring-rope often obstructs some of the view. Perhaps a front-facing view while the wrestler walks around the ring will be better, especially with an angle looking up to the wrestler. The hard-camera during matches is completely fine, but the random camera-angle changes feel odd. They should rather focus on making the move look impactful, whereas they come across like a channel-changing CCTV camera where other cameramen obstruct the view.
*Some might think a "swoosh"/motion sound might add to the impression of the logo transition effect, though I find it quite fine.
*If I remember correctly your previous posts/book made note of only adding light to the ring, as you viewed that as the viewer's focus not the fans. That's fine, I won't argue against that, as it also fools the viewer into believing the audience is larger than it is. But I do think the lighting is too dark upon the ring. Empire Wrestling does it quite well, if I'm honest. While their gym-room (I'm not sure what those rooms are called in America) is larger, it's not larger by much. The audience you see is as far as it goes, but the effect makes it look as if there might be more fans. The lighting in the video Facen has up looks closer to what I'm getting at, but I can see argument for it being too bright. Halfway between, leaning more to the latter, would be much more appreciated.
*The overlay guy who does the advertisements is rather flat and his "emotion", if hardly there, feels forced into his words. In other words, it's not impactful enough. The commentators also seem delayed in their calls as well as feeling like they have no commitment to their work. They're painfully emotionless (judging on the match-up with one of The Heartbreakers). I did enjoy their build-up to the main, however.
*Facen is impressive in ability, strength and look. His mannerisms are good, and he gets the nuances of the match over. I can see why Jordane is shifted into the position he is - he's massive (6'5"?) and not badly built, so he just needs to throw a good punch and he's believable. I didn't have the time to watch the entire match, as I really should to make a better impression, but he doesn't seem as confident in the ring as Facen, though, in that he feels slightly hesitant in some of his moves. Potential is still, obviously, there.

What do you think of the camera angles?
-Not too bad but not too good. There were plenty of times where the focus was off and only capturing half of the wrestlers bodies at some point. Work on how to focus and transition more smoothly.
What do you think of the editing? Is it too aggressive or not aggressive enough?
-Editing is probably ok. The only negative I noticed is that you can hear the crowd way too much.
What do you think of the lighting? Does it add a dramatic effect or is it just too dark?
-The lighting is pretty bad IMO. The only part its fine is in the very middle of the ring. I think its way too dark and doesn't add to the atmosphere but rather screams "extremely low budget" and sometimes you can't see what's happening. More light on the ring itself would work wonders.
If you had to guess, how big would you say the venue is?
-Judging by the sound and echoes of the crowd its a smaller venue and it seemed like you had about 70-100 people watching.
If NHW TV came on TV in your area, would you watch?
-Sure I would give it a watch. I like indy wrestling. But could get stale if certain issues are not addressed.

-Seem pretty solid but I wouldn't call them big league material yet. Maybe after a few years.
