MVP was a nice surprise on this show. I think Lashley/Swerve could be a great feud because they both are black, have black mgmt, and it’s kind of an old school vs new school vibe. Mentor vs Mentee. I can get with this.

Nana is just too likeable with his accent to ever play a real hateable heel. People hear him and it makes you think of the movie Coming to America or it gives you the relaxed island vibes of a vacation.

MVP basically saying Nana is an Uncle Tom for dancing in front of the white crowd is something that I don’t think WWE would do, but AEW there may be more boundaries so they could do some good stuff with this feud. It’s rare for two managers to have nearly the same heat with each other as the two wrestlers

I like MVP as a promo, but this is true, lol. He won't be happy because he's always gonna complain about how every champion in AEW isn't black.

I certainly think MVP doing Swerves talking would be better than Swerve doing it, lol, but I see this more as a feud between Swerve and Lashley. If I were Swerve, I'd rather join MVP because I could use the change in direction. What's going on right now isn't working, they need an overhaul, and let's be honest, Swerve is a heel anyway. Man said he was gonna cripple Danielson in front of his daughter. It's impossible to feel sympathy for him.

Im going to take a guess. MVP will come out and do an ''Fuck WWE'' type promo, will start a faction of guys in black t-shirts, and after Tony gets bored or signs someone else from WWE/NJPW/the indies and he will be involved in 6 man tag matches until he starts complaining about his booking on twitter. Then Tony will take offence and ghost him and end up paying MVP to sit at home and do nothing.
