Im talking promos in which the hatred(whether real or really good kayfabe) was just so prevalent... one that springs to mind that just felt like pure hatred was this promo with Hogan and Vince on Smackdown 2003

Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff 1998, by far.

Ric Flair vs Eric Bischoff

Ric Flair vs Eric Bischoff, one of the most intense feuds this industry has ever seen. The story was basically a real life issue between them and they turned it into an awesome money storyline. For those who don't know, Bischoff felt that Flair is not fitting as a main eventer in the new WCW. Flair no showed to a Thunder show one time because of a vacation with his son and Eric got his opportunity to go all out on him, he wanted to sue Flair and put him out of business, this is the real story.

Flair came back to TV after a long time and all the real life problems with Eric, but now to work with him. Flair came back to one of the biggest ovations in the history of wrestling for a special Horseman reunion and we got the first promo between Ric and Eric, intense and reality based, Flair threw everything he wanted to say to Eric in real life during that promo and they started from there to build a huge Starrcade match. During one of Flair's mega intense promos he suffered a heart attack and did it to perfection, Bischoff did everything to ruin Flair's life, from buying and attacking his friends with the nWo all the way to kissing his wife, nothing more personal and the anticipation was huge, the main event of Starrcade 98 was Goldberg vs Kevin Nash for the WCW title but this match was on another level of intensity:

At Starrcade Curt Hennig helped and saved Bischoff from Flair and of course it wasn't over. On Nitro the next night, Flair came back with an amazing classic promo and decided to put everything on the line just for one more shot at Eric, his house, his cars, his career everything and in return, if Eric loses, Flair will be the new owner of WCW for 90 days. Bischoff agreed for the chance to completely humiliate Flair once and for all:

In the match after tons of returns, brawls and members of both factions, Flair finally got his revenge and beat Bischoff in the main event of the last Nitro of 98.

Their program was so good and rare that in a lot of segments, drew huge audience even from the WWF fanbase and their segments won almost everytime with crazy numbers. This amazing, intense, personal story should get much more appreciation for how good it was, with the greatest wrestler of all time besides the 3 icons of the business and along with Vince, the greatest authority figure of all time. Amazing work from two masters performers.

Any promo involving both Nailz and the Big Boss Man. They took it on a personal level, as if.
I'll just throw out a few.

From recent memory, I thought HHH-Punk face-off promo was pretty fucking intense for the scripted environment we have these days.

Nothing, nothing will beat this. And what makes it better, is that it wasn't staged, he just went there and talked what was on his mind.

This is why Austin's untouchable.
Anything not involving Tony Garea.
Cactus Jacks 'anti-hardcore' promos were very intense and just all around excellent.
This one sticks out in my mind...

Austin vs Bret Hart when Austin was a badass heel

Austin was swearing when it wasn't even common in wrestling and his intensity took that feud to whole different level

Do you have links? If so, please post :cool2
Most recently, the promo where Cena pointed out Rock's wrist notes, and the night Bret returned and called out HBK.

I am posting from mobile so it's tough

I love LOVE this one. I've been rewatching from mid-96 on, and this is the first promo that really made me repeat multiple times. April '98, IIRC.
Also, this HHH promo was very intense too. HHH is one of the best promo guys in history. @ 1:43

Dont know how to post vids, but Steiner shooting on Flair was OD.
One intense promo that comes to my mind would be The Rock vs John Cena's promo before WM 28.
I have no idea why Mick Foley isn't utilized in a promo writing and talent coach role for the younger guys. While his up and down intensity is fantastic, the amount of substance his promos carry is phenomenal. That and due to his work across characters he'd easily be able to write from various perspectives.
Here goes the Austin/Bret promo a week after WM 13. My favorite Austin promo of all time.

ECW was known for having tons of intense promos.

One of my favorites from back in 1996 during his feud with Sabu (Taz spoils Paul Heymans PPV announcement surprise).

Rhino cuts a FUCKING INTENSE promo on New Jack

Non WWE related but one of the most intense promos of all time, based on a real life situation.
