with his current put and his spot in the royal rumble its most likely he will be in the money in the bank match and be a high favorite to win the match. he fits the profile, guy pushed but just outside the main event guys but still have the skills to hang with them.

I'm not so sure right now... for me, it could be anyone between McIntyre, Kofi, Morrison and Justin Gabriel.
I hope he is, for the WWE's sake.
He's a strong favorite if he is in the match no doubt. They have been pushing him, I thought they miht have done more with him in the royal rumble match but he still manages to get in the most memorable of moments, and is made to look like a star everytime he's in the ring. I think it could be between him and Dolph Ziggler. I want them to go with a face again though, we've had Punk (who turned heel), Swagger, Miz and Kane (who turned heel) the last four times. I think it's time to give a face a win and have him cash in the RVD way.
I hope he is, for the WWE's sake.
lol wut.

I fully expect Morrison to win MITB. Kofi won't win it because he's black, Christian won't win it because he's.....Christian, Daniel Bryan isn't gonna win it because they've got zero direction for him, Justin Gabriel won't win it because he's doing the Corre stuff, and Dolph Ziggler won't win it because he's even worse than Morrison and simply can't be trusted with the title.

This is make or break for him, though, in my opinion. If he doesn't win the belt soon then he never will.

You never know, he could end up teaming with a newly turned face David Otunga to take on Dolph Ziggler and The Great Khali for the tag team titles in an opening three minute match at mania.

Now that would be right up Morrison's street.
I'm kinda pessimistic to be honest. Before Royal Rumble i never had a feeling he would win the Rumble match even though i was hoping he would win, and last night he didn't win it for real. I'm also not really sure about MITB win for Morrison, i just don't have the feeling that he will win after the randomness of PPV called Royal Rumble 2011 last night, i can't really trust WWE anymore, they rely way too much on 'anything can happen' factor, they don't really book long term plan properly anymore, heck, they can kill Morrison's push all of sudden later tonight even though it won't make sense, i know i sound way too pessimistic but after last night i won't be surprised if they do it.

That being said, i'd really love to see Morrison win because deep down inside i feel he deserves it, he's worked his ass off to finally get a big fanbase and he's looked like a legit star these past few months. I'd give it to Kofi first if i can but WWE don't seem to have big plans for him right now with that IC belt still being on his shoulder.

How was the Royal Rumble random? For weeks and weeks, they gave Alberto Del Rio face time on Raw, he kept re-iterating, "I'm gonna win", "I'm gonna win", "I'm gonna win", "I'm gonna win", over and over again. You might not have BELIEVED it but that doesn't mean the seeds weren't planted.

Del Rio winning was believable after he has had the push and been proclaiming he's going to win for ages. But the rest of the PPV was random as hell, the vast majority of it didn't make sense. I think he's just trying to say that they don't have longterm booking at the moment (or don't seem to) and they can drop pushes at the click of their fingers for no reason so he's not confident Morrison will be getting his push continued, even if it does make sense to continue it.
Morrison won't win it. The last couple of years they've thrown a curveball (no one expected Swagger to win it or Punk to win it a second time). I think Ziggler or maybe Barrett will win it.
The only part that didn't make sense is why CM Punk screwed Orton and then they had Punk eliminated way before Orton showed up in the Rumble himself. I'll give you that, but I didn't catch anything else that was out of line. The booking of Ziggler/Edge made complete sense, and the changing of the divas match wasn't too outlandish because a handicap match wouldn't have been able to work well.

Eve winning the Divas title out of nowhere was random. K2 coming out in a match between Ziggler/Edge was random. Punk coming out during WWE title match was kinda random.

Honestly, i wasn't talking about Del Rio, in fact, i love the decision, it's Royal Rumble match, everyone should have the same chance to win, so Del Rio's victory wasn't random after all. And they actually followed through his "Destined to win Royal Rumble" angle which made it sweeter.

Edit*: i was typing that^

That didn't make sense no, because they should have followed up. But why Kelly randomly showed up in the World Title match I dno't know because she didn't have anything to do with...anything. The finish (Killswitch) made sense though, I just didn't get the Kelly involvement. The ENTIRE DIVAs match didn't make the slightest bit of sense and confused me more than anything.

The booking of the royal rumble match didn't make sense to me either. Nexus dominated which killed the crowd, they threw out everyone including Morrison and Mark Henry. Cena comes in and single handedly takes them all out. We go from Nexus domination to Cena and...Hornswaggle domination? It was like a comedy royal rumble. The ending with Santino took even more away from it too. Sheamus didn't make an impact, Barrett didn't, McIntyre didn't, the returns didn't amount to anything, nobody (aside from Cena, Del Rio and apparently Hornswaggle) was booked well. We had Ziggler and Orton randomly back in the match. It was just a complete mess in my opinion and was indeed pretty random and not thought out well.

i think Dolph will take MITB at this years mania !
Yeah the Kelly part made absolutely no sense to me at all. The only thing I can see out of this is if they start a fued with Kelly and Vickie and of course Dolph gets involved and Drew comes out and makes the save, thus teasing a face turn. But there's absolutely no way they could be going for that.

i have a funny feeling with vicki in charge of smackdown that dolph will find some way to turn edge and del rio in a three way. with the whole cheating with the spear tired in its just already set up. in another note i hope del rio ends up being in the 30% that don't win the belt after winning the rumble

Yeah, last time he's steal the show in EC and WWE just kill his push by randomly tag him with R-Truth. I was like WTF are they thinking!
I would love Morrison to win MITB. It would be make or break for him though.

Unless he turns heel which I really don't want to see he isn't the sort of guy you would want to see cash it in in the normal Edge sort of way where the guy is beat down after a match.

I would like to see him win it and then after a while decide he wants to cash it in against either hopefully Cena, a heel champion Jericho or heel Punk that isn't part of nexus. These 3 guys wouldn't exactly need to carry morrison but it would really test the water if he could hang with the big boys. If he can't do it fair enough at say Summer Slam make him lose his title match and leave him in the mid card but if he proves he can handle the build up and doesn't look out of place then give him the belt cause he would deserve it.

The MITB briefcase is used quite badly but this way it's a bit different and much better for a face that is being pushed but needs tested.
It's tough for a face to keep putting off using the MITB unless they keep getting beat down and want to wait until they're 100%. Might work if CM Punk or Barrett are title-holders and then keep having the MITB winner beaten down every week as added protection for their title reign.

I'd guess Ziggler will win MITB if they have it at WM. Maybe Otunga as he's could carry a lot of tension with it depending who is champion.
