As noted before, Vince McMahon was apparently upset at Monday’s RAW because Alberto Del Rio mentioned his name on TV. The mood at this week’s RAW was described by some as the most negative environment they could recall. Vince McMahon was said to be in the worst mood.

Word is that Vince felt Del Rio gave away the end result of the Kevin Nash and John Laurinaitis storyline by mentioning him. Some say that Vince was in a bad mood before Del Rio name dropped him. It’s said that Stephanie McMahon and Triple H both took more of the brunt from Vince this week than others, as did the agents, mainly Dean Malenko and Arn Anderson.

The writers had to do the usual script changes this week but sources say it was worse this week than most others.

Regarding the Mark Henry and Jerry Lawler angle, they went back and forth all day on whether or not to have Henry put Lawler trough the table. Shortly before RAW started, they made the decision to put him through it. The table was supposed to be gimmicked so it would break easier but because of the late decision, somehow the table wasn’t gimmicked and Lawler was put through it the hard way.

Both Henry and Lawler were upset about the angle but Vince himself was said to be furious about it. After RAW ended, Vince called the agents and writers in for a meeting. Sources say Vince went into a “full-on red faced promo” where everyone felt they were being warned.
I guess it was true.

Yes, because a different article than the other one on Vince's anger is old.

I did find it a bit odd when Del Rio mentioned his name. Obviously Vince is going to return at some point, just didn't see why Del Rio would need to use his name in the promo. However, I don't see why Vince would get so angry over it though. It was only a few weeks ago, it's not as if everyone's forgotten Vince's existence.

I would hate to work for Vince, I really would. From him freaking the fuck out all the time to him yelling at you in your headset if you're a commentator, he just seems like the biggest dick.

Vince just reminds me how fucking awesome Dana White is. Dana White is like Vince, only the exact opposite in the best way possible.

Isn't ADR mentioning Vince better? I mean, if everybody just stops talking about him, that'd be a giant tip-off that he's coming back. Now that he's an option, it's less likely he'll be behind it all, using TV logic.

He freaked out over Jerry going through a table? haha and people want violence and blood at HIAC and think WWE is transitioning into a edgier era? yeah sure.
No, he freaked out about the crew not doing their job and setting up a gimmicked table like he wanted. Instead, they set up the normal announcer's table and Lawler was injured as a result.

When did that become news is beyond me:no:.

Anyways I think Vince should either stop being sucha cry baby or take a week off from work. You're old, old man. You can play 20's anymore. It's a million dollar company so of course everything won't go as smoothly as you want.

Third choice is of course him retiring. But obviously he is that kind of guy who would want to work himself to death so telling him that would be pointless.

In all and all I think he is pissed about something entirely else while he takes it on other various things that go down in his company.

All Del Rio said was "McMahon was a better man than you" to HHH, what's so bade about that? Its not as if he said "Mr McMahon will return at (insert event here) to take the company from you HHH".....

I love the daft ol git, think he's great, but he needs to sth up about this, and chill. It's not really a big deal. The mentioning him bit I mean. The Henry/Lawler thing is a different matter.

Did you even read the report... the anger was because the table wasn't gimmicked - which for an old guy like Jerry to be put through it by a big beast like Henry - is probably quite dangerous and I imagine it hurt.
