Right now, RAW's ratings are even worse than Monday Night Wars II from 2010.

My question is if Impact Wrestling decided to go head to head with RAW now, and assuming that WWE wouldnt pull out something like Bret Hart returning to WWE after 14 years, would Impact have a chance against WWE or would the result still be the same?

There was and isn't going to be a "war." TNA did WORSE heading into 2010 than they did before and look who they had on their roster:
Kurt Angle
Sting
Kevin Nash
Nigel McGuinness
The Young Bucks
Mick Foley
Rob Van Dam
AJ Styles
Christopher Daniels
Ric Flair

Just to name a few and they failed horribly. They had EVERYTHING and squandered it and you actually think they have a chance now in their current state? :punkout

No. First there will never be another MNW like in the 90s. That era is dead.
Second, Impact's rating's aren't exactly wowing right now either.
Third, this need for direct competition is dumb. It wasn't even all that smart the first time around.
Fourth, WWE will never seen a company that will be able to challenge then on the same level WCW did. Factor in that WWE is a overall bigger company then it was in 90s. You would need someone with money and pull to invest in a wrestling company to have a hope of challenging WWE and that is unlikely to happen.

People need to get over the fact that the Wrestling Wars of the 90s are never coming back and move on. If you like a company more that another, then support your company of choice,

Add Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Abyss, and Jeff Hardy to the list.

It's very sad to see.

I wonder why Turner never came back and challenged Vince/WWE again.
Turner lost control of his company and there wasn't another viable wrestling company for him to invest in

Impact can not comcompte with WWE. WWE had too much money and too big of a set fan base.

Now, that is not to say a new war couldn't happen, but I would say if it does, it will be a three way ratings battle between IW, ROH, and LU. Imagine of all three promotions aired on Thursday. It would be like World War III

They would need money, a better roster, and a complete revamp. Just look at an episode from 2008/2009 and compare it with the latest episode. They need to go above and beyond what they're doing now. Also, change the name Impact Wrestling. It sounds bland and generic.
