Why not????? If he's IP banned, he doesn't come back. I don't get why it wouldn't help.

His ISP could provide random IP's (like AOL for instance). If they ban him with one IP, he could just log off and log back on with a different IP. That and if they banned his IP, one of the other members here that have the same ISP could be banned wrongly.

I'm the only person who does IP banning. It's such a powerful tool and easy to make mistakes with. Besides, it's best if only one person handles IPs so that he knows why everyone is IP banned.

I can IP ban him right now. His ISP uses proxies; he doesn't.
