Miz Retaining or Del Rio Winning?

I MUCH prefer Del Rio to Miz. But I want a crazy swerve with The Rock and Cena more then I want Del Rio to win. So I'd choose Miz.

ADR, like it or not, is primed right now
he's so primed even that sin cara guy jumped ship to wwe because of how popular ADR is

Hm, thought the poll was which one we thought would win, not who we prefer. I 100% prefer Miz to walk out with the gold and Alberto to lose... but that's not happening.

The Miz retaining against John Cena is MUCH bigger than Alberto Del Rio beating Edge.

Edge has yet to win at Championship match at WrestleMania. Now COULD be his time, but Del Rio is primed for the win. But the Miz retaining would overshadow either man winning.

Miz > Del Rio.

THIS! As much as I dispise Del Rio I CAN find a positive in him winning against Edge at WM... Del Rio will get a case of the old "being pushed too fast syndrome" and after his title run, will fade back into obscurity...

I think by this point they almost have to do a Rock/Cena match up, and that match certainly doesn't require the world title to be good. Miz is doing damn good with that title, and almost any new star in his position would have floundered with booking like he's receiving.

Del Rio should win too, but he doesn't have to right now. He could always win at Backlash. Right now it's looking like mostly faces are going to win though so I could see them giving both main events to the heels. I mean you have King and Undertaker going over for sure, then Snooki's team going over too, those are the 3 big matches that aren't the world title ones. Plus the whole point of Miz/Cena is the Rocks involvement.

My decision: Both heels go over.

If I had to choose out of the two, then as much as I enjoy Alberto's work, I'd have to go for The Miz as he is now looking like a true champ despite some of his booking being shocking.

That said, I have a feeling both Miz and ADR are walking out of Mania with the straps.

Firstly - like him or not, Edge deserves his WrestleMania moment for what he has done for this company
ADR does not NEED this, he's still primed for main event glory, this is his first wrestlemania, he will win the title but it doesn't have to be at WrestleMania.
John Cena wins the title almost every year at Mania - it's getting boring.
Miz is starting to shine in his title run, he's becoming a great heel and a defeat to Cena here would be disappointing, he deserves to hold the belt for longer.

I hardly think we will see 2 screwjob finishes for both the title matches at Wrestlemania. Even moreso if it means both heels will be winning. Christian to screw Edge over so Del Rio gets the win, and Miz to just go over Cena clean in a well fought match. Maybe The Rock will be at ringside and will be a distraction for Cena and Miz or something but I don't really see him running in and getting a cheap attack behind the refs back. The Cena/Rock showdown will happen post-match IMO.

As for the OP, I think both Miz and Del Rio will win. In my mind its going to be like a reversal of WM21 with Cena and Batista. They were the two up-and-coming faces who won their first championship at WM and went on to become staples in WWE's mainevent. Now it will be the heels in Miz and Del Rio who triumph here at WM27 as a way of showing how important they are for WWE's future. This is what it seems like to me anyway.

I couldn't agree more. Everyone's been telling me that there's no way that both heels leave with the world titles, but I think it only makes sense. First of all, I am a huge Edge fan and I would love nothing more than for him to have his WrestleMania moment with Christian at his side, but Del Rio is being pushed to be a big deal and a win at WM is the way to do that. Not only that, the last time a Royal Rumble winner won the world title at Mania was 2007. Surely WWE wouldn't have the Rumble winner lose for the fourth year in a row. As for Miz, I think he has proved everyone wrong and had a great reign as WWE Champion. A reign that should continue. He's been entertaining, he's done well with everything he's been booked to do and he's received a lot of publicity. I think it's in the best interest of WWE to have Miz win. He needs the victory way more than Cena and the Cena/Rock feud certainly doesn't need the title.

Miz, definitely. He's able to cut more than one promo over and over, while he isn't going to "wow" anybody in the ring, he has the ability to make you care about whoever he's wrestling. That right there puts him above ADR imo.

Miz is a flash in the pan. Del Rio is the future!

I'd prefer Miz to retain, and I predict he will too.

I'd rather Edge wins, THEN Christian turns on him, setting up a feud between the two going into Extreme Rules. Del Rio can be involved in Edge/Christian if there's nothing else for him.
