Jey Uso booked like a geek the whole match given he's meant to be the WHC.

Overall, entertaining show.

Truth single handedly saved this from being awful

 

It was a cool moment and they got us, but I don’t need to see Cena and Truth again

 

I’m actually happy as fuck to get worked if Truth is still there, and that made for a great ending.

That being said, the match was far too long and mostly felt like an over extended Raw match for the majority of it, not like a main event of a PLE.

 

Jacob turn was my highlight of MITB.

 

Yah as a casual wrestling fan these days, damn that felt like a raw main event and the fact people are pumped for Truth to be back.. and they accept it as a huge swerve.. yet they don’t defend their main title on supposed A level event..

 

Fightful saying this wasn't the plan all along, but they heard the backlash and turned the shoot into a work.

Was it a work or did they underestimate the popularity of R-Truth? Either way, unexpected ending that hit much better than his appearance at Backlash. This felt more serious than that comedy skit. I wonder how they move the story from here…

 

Overall a 5/10

• Women's MITB was ok, some cool spot but a lot of dead zones and the finish was crap
• Becky vs Lyra was poor
• Men's MITB was a great match but the finish killed it
• Cena/Paul vs Cody/Uso was a slog of a match, A overly long Raw match but the ending was cool

 

That ending, however it really went down, can't distract from the fact that a # of things about that show should be tangible warning signs for WWE. The cracks are becoming bigger.

 

Haven’t some people been saying this for years though? 🤷🏻‍♂️
