For reference, Sikoa was PLUS 1200 when the lines dropped. He is now a solid favorite. That is a huge shift, and most of it came the day of the show.


Could it mean something? Who knows. Are people just hedging because of wrestlevotes report that he's one of the two being considered? Maybe. But Rollins was also in that report and he's dropping like a rock.

I could see Solo possibly winning after last night's segment. I expected LA Knight to interrupt Rollins last night, instead they went with....Solo. Then they did the whole trios stare-down like they were presenting him like some kind of boss ready for a renewed push. At least Knight got his own standalone talking segment before the match with Black. Got a nice Breakker/Fatu confrontation out of Solo interrupting too.

I think Solo's popularity is slowly growing, he's been kinda funny with his mannerisms, I'm still going with LA Knight but after SD I can see why the Solo predictions are rising. It would be such an awful decision though up there with Damian Priest.

 

I'm not a fan of him but I will say he is definitely getting solid on the mic. I just think it would be a very boring route to go. Roman had the title for years. Now you do it again, and have a lesser version of Roman have the title. For me personally I think it's boring , and just a waste.

Knight should get it, win the title and hang on to it for a few months, lose it and take some time off. Knight beating Cena with Rhodes costing Cena the match would be epic

 

Keep in mind that last year the Mens MITB and KOTR were won by RAW wrestlers (McIntyre and Gunther) and the Womens MITB and QOTR were won by Smackdown wrestlers (Nia and Tiffany). So I do think that either MITB or K/QOTR or both this year are going do the opposite of that.

Edit: I am really getting MITB and QOTR mixed in my head. So let me correct myself before I get corrected... I am still leaning with Rhea winning the Womens MITB. Although Alexa with the MITB case would be interesting. Too soon for Stephanie, Giulia and Roxanne. Naomi winning it would suck.

Mens MITB... LA Knight should win it. LA in LA also. I do think that this is the time for him to win the thing and then he leaves everyone guessing on if he cashes in for a future match when the champ is healthy or if he turns full heel and cashes in when the champ is down.

Whatever happens tonight, I don't want to see a cash during this PLE. Please let both MITB holders hold on to their cases for awhile. Doesn't have to be 6 months or 9 months or 11 months but they have done enough cash ins within 4 hours after winning the thing for awhile.

 

The 5 match only rule sucks enough as it is, but four is absolutely inexcusable.

 

TKO wants them off the air before 10 for the UFC PPV. I assume thats why this is. Not saying it's right. You could definitely do 6 matches or maybe more in 3 hours even with the ads.

Having a failed cash in 2 years in a row is not a good decision. And when I say "not a good decision", I don't mean "I don't like it", I mean it's literally, business wise, insanely stupid. You cannot teach fans who are being expected to pay premium prices for PPV's that the MITB briefcase means NOTHING. Especially the mens, because nobody seriously gives a fuck about womens wrestling. It's all about the men. Whoever wins has to WIN.

If Solo was gonna win, why not just do the Jacob segment NEXT week?

Could be someone high up putting out mis info to cash in when the lines change. Who knows, like you, I dont see how the fuck Sikoa would win. He's not taking either belt and I doubt they do a fail 2 years in a row.

I don't honestly care if it's not LA Knight, the other 5 suck and it proves Triple H is a moron of proportions unfathomable no matter who wins. LA Knight is clearly the guy who has to win, he's the one who needs it or he's dead. The others have other stories going on, or will win the world title later. He doesn't. The whole middle of the show is gonna be women's wrestling probably. It really is 50/50 exposure between the men and women in WWE now. At least Lyra vs Becky won't be a sloppy mess.

 

They're not starting with the mens, cause Gable is main eventing Worlds Collide.

It's probably gonna be the womens MITB, then the womens IC title match, then LA Knights career is officially ruined once and for all, and then they have the main event tag match that nobody gives a fuck about.

TBH, I'm not surprised. It's always 5 and it never made sense to have 4. Obviously Dominik is not losing the IC title to a AAA guy, so I'm picking Dominik to retain, but it's a great showcase for their Triple A expansion, and it gives Gable and Stephanie more time to get ready and relax before they go out there and compete a second time.

It's funny cause I said a few days ago that I couldn't believe it was 4 matches and not 5, I said give us anything, give us Dominik defending the IC title or something, and low and behold, they gave us Dominik defending the IC title, lmao.
