If this isn't an LA Knight win (and it won't be, he's out of contention feuding with the Bloodline), I don't even know what's left to say about this fucking company.

I'd love a R Truth vs Cena here, after Backlash. Definitely won't be everyone's choice but MITB matches sell the show here and Truth now getting one last serious run or at least 1 more title match before he retires. Hell, do Little Jimmy throwback who can now be Jimmy Uso helping him on Smackdown (who has been doing segments with him about Cena.)

Cena vs Truth allows Cena to play more a bully and hopefully add another layer to his character before he declares he wants more competition. Haven't seen it rumoured anywhere but I can see it leading to Goldberg, especially with Night of Champions in Saudi.

Wonder if they go for Punk vs. Cena on this show with it being MITB, though it's not in Chicago.

For the Men's MITB, I don't really have a good idea on who will win. I've seen some suggest Knight, and I guess he's a candidate. Maybe Fatu or Dom, assuming it doesn't matter that they're already champions. Penta could be an option too, thought he's lost twice to Dom recently.

For the women I assume it's Naomi's or Jade's to win. Maybe Vaquer if they want to put her in a big spot right off the bat. Could see Rhea being in the match since she hasn't been in the match before. And if she's in, you could add Giulia and/or Roxanne too.

It might be too early for Punk vs Cena, since it is doubtful Punk with Seth and Bron will be over after SNME. Maybe SummerSlam at its earliest. As for Cena I guess it depends on how long they are going to draw out his feud with Truth and ho Esty considering SNME has Jey vs Paul and the tag team match, I could see them saving Cena and Truth for MITB to give it some more legs.

Men MITB is unpredictable. I would have though Bron but the way things are going, I could see Bron winning the Rumble instead. Maybe LA Knight or Dom.

Women's really tough. Maybe Alexa, maybe Charlotte maybe Rhea. I'm just spitballing names.

"When the timing is right" aka after Punk gets done jobbing to Breakker and Rollins the whole year.

I'm sure Punk will be just a wonderfully credible challenger to Cena that everyone believes in.....

They'll do it, I'm sure. And it won't end well for Punk.
Yeah Punk is taking the L when they do it, but I'm more afraid that Bron breaks his fragile bones into pieces.

I don't know, but I'm not expecting Punk to be the main event of SummerSlam, I can tell you that.
If not Punk vs Cena it has to be Seth/Bron vs Punk/Roman or Cody/Cena II.

Cody vs Cena II makes the most sense, so that Cena can turn back babyface by the end of the year. Seth/Bron vs Roman/Punk with Punk getting pinned, or Roman vs Punk with Punk getting pinned both make sense for SummerSlam. Not as the main event, of course, since as we know, Punk isn't a star.

I don't know what the fuck is funny about that.....

Considering the current participants, I want LA Knight to win this year's MitB. I would be okay with Solo if only because he's shown so much improvement lately, but I think he's better out of the main event scene for the time being.

Of the women, I'd like Alexa I guess, but her ongoing story with Charlotte doesn't make me think she's going to be in the world championship picture just yet.

Rollins & Rhea to win the MITB. The idea that “stars don’t win MITB because they’re already made” has been proven incorrect several times yet the IWC & wrestling twitter still seem to believe this.

Cody is not losing his return match so he’ll pin Logan Paul

Becky will probably win as I can’t see them having her lose 4 matches in a row before she feuds with Bayley. I’m not totally sure on this though as Triple H historically isn’t high on her

Becky isn't winning and the stipulation proves it. There's no way they're going to put Lyra in the position to have to raise Becky's hand, especially when Becky will likely cheat to win, and Lyra is such a white meat sap babyface that she'll still go through with it even after she's cheated, which will make her look like a complete idiot. Becky won't let that happen, not to mention, it clearly isn't the WWE's intention to make the womens IC title or womens US title even slightly relevant. If they wanted it on a star, they'd have had a star win it to begin with, and they didn't, and furthermore would've put it on Becky at Backlash and had Lyra have to chase her to get it back.

Bayley will cost Becky the match.

Looking at the men's side, would they have Punk compete in the Ladder match? I mean I wouldn't think he's campaigning to do it at 46 years old. But given the guys who have already failed to qualify on the Raw side, I guess I could see it. I'm assuming Bronson or Bron won't qualify and would instead interfere for Seth. If not any of those guys, there's Styles, Sheamus, maybe Dom?

While I could easily see Seth winning and half expect him too, I'm pulling for Knight.

For the women, I'm thinking Rhea probably takes it and cashes in by announcing her match against IYO. Don't see Bliss winning, and I don't think they put the titles or Giulia or Roxanne yet.

“Roxy in the Bank” can happen, but if Liv is in the match I think she probably cancels herself and Roxy out. If Vaquer is in the match she probably gets screwed by the Mexican chicks she is facing at the AAA/WWE show. So yeah I’m rooting for Vaquer to win but Rhea is still my top pick for the women. WWE have made this show far more interesting assuming Vaquer and Punk are added. Not as predictable as a couple weeks ago.
