Mick Foley thinks that Triple H's comments on RAW about not wanting to be a guy who "hangs around too long" and destroys his body might have been directed at him. Foley tweeted:

"HHH should take it from a guy who knows. Better to go out on top, on your own terms, than to hang around too long."

"YES! Just lost three times in a single Triple H highlight reel. When it comes to losing high profile matches, I truly am The King of Kings!"

"Jees, kind of felt like he was referring to me there, didn't it?"
Mick Foley posted the following message on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, setting the record straight on his relationship with Triple H and stating that he is very happy being a WWE Ambassador:

Can I clear up this rumor about me not getting along with Triple H?

Triple H is the man responsible for bringing me back to WWE. I am very happy in my role as WWE Ambassador, and have a variety of WWE projects due out in the next few months: a children's book, a set of cards that I did the writing for, and the WWE13 game that I am apparently featured prominently in. I am hoping to use the release of the book to become a much larger part of WWE's "Be A STAR" campaign.

WWE has gone out of their way to clear considerable chunks of time for me, including the Montreal and Edinburgh comedy festivals and the upcoming Singapore Writer's Festival (more on that in a few days) and February tour of Australia.

And if I ever feel like I need a quick Foley fix; like I absolutely need to hear thousands of people chanting my name? Well, pretty much any house show I want to appear at is just a phone call (or text) away.

There is no higher form of flattery for me than showing up on another WWE Superstar's highlight video. I was thrilled to be there three times for Triple H.

Bottom line: I'm happy. I'm part of the company I love, and I get to try things on my own. Thank you, Triple H, for bringing me back to WWE.
Well. I guess that settles that then. :lmao at DEM DIRT SHEETS once again talking shit. Just goes to show you I guess. A while ago everybody was throwing a bitch fit because they were told Trips was the guy behind Foley not coming back to WWE, even though he came back the next week DURR. Now we find out that Foley is back because of Triple H. Go figure.

It's just silly. I'll never understand how or why people take everything they say (dirtsheets) at face value. Silly. And I suppose I should say that the same applies for the talent/wrestlers themselves but fucking hell, common sense should prevail. In most cases however, it doesn't.

I always take them with a grain of salt, I only ever have interest in feud/booking rumours. Aswell as the interviews they post. Even though booking/feuds will undoubtedly be changed, as all WWE's plans change, they an interesting notes.

I believe Dirt Sheets just jump to conclusions too quickly. Like the whole idea recently of Cole not announcing a "Rock-Bottom" even though Punk always brings his opponent down like that from an upright position for the Anaconda Vice(it is in all the video games and has been shown in past matches).

I've heard guys who've worked on the WWE creative team whilst HHH has been involved with creative say that many times Foley's named was brought up and that HHH axed the ideas, making Foley a black-listed talent.

This is where the dirtsheets get their info from...

Sorry, but that doesn't debunk this:http://www.wrestlingforum.com/gener...inst-wwe-utilizing-mick-foley-television.html

HHH could easily be pro-Foley when it comes to small cameos, but against using him more significantly.
No. I guess hearing it from Foley himself can't refute the great Meltzer. If HHH didn't want to use him and truly believed that Funaki can draw more money than him then he wouldn't have brought him back at all because that clearly suggests that he would think Foley is worthless, which he obviously doesn't if he's the one responsible for him being there now. I'm not calling them best buddies or anything but most of the stuff in that report screams so much BS I can smell it from where I'm sitting. What reason does Foley have to lie or even address the issue at all? All he had to do was keep his mouth shut. Instead he spoke up yet it can't debunk DEM DIRT SHEETS DURR.

Maybe he shot down the ideas because they were shit, or they didn't make sense, they didn't fit the direction the company was in, etc. I don't know if it's true or not but it's kinda funny how badly he's demonized. I guess it comes with the position, and I'm sure he's made tons of mistakes, but that doesn't necessarily mean he wants to black list Foley. Foley isn't even black lasted. Black listed is Benoit, black listed is Kennedy, black listed is Randy Savage until he died. Foley shows up at least a couple times a year and they have no problem mentioning him, that isn't what black listing means.

It is funny. All you can really do is laugh lol. I'm pretty sure if it was reported that he slapped a disabled kid in the face and fucked their mom right in front of them people would believe it.

Didn't Foley point out the hypocrisy of the Be A Star campaign and the way they make fun of some people within the company? If he was afraid of ruffling feathers why would he have done that? I believe what the man says, as he doesn't seem like the type to be afraid to speak his mind.

Triple h just hates the notion that foley made his ass legit back in the day...

And must resent it so much he'll literally pay foley to be irrelevant...

Didn't Triple H say that his feuds with Foley were his favourites? Specifically his feud with Cactus Jack which solidified him as a genuine main-event, big match worker? Both their Street Fight at the Royal Rumble and their HIAC match were some of the best gimmick matches ever and Foley also gave Hunter one of his most memorable promos ever (where he revealed the Cactus Jack shirt and went crazy).

He's probably kissing a bit of ass, but to say the promo package thing was anything to do with burying him is ridiculous when Foley was a crucial stepping stone in his career. To me it would be weird if they didn't include those in a highlight package.

Of course HHH respects Mick Foley. Triple H should be drinking Mick's bathwater for helping him look like a true main eventer and a million bucks during their feud.
