I saw Matt Striker wrestling and doing promos at an independent show on month ago.. and was absolutely flashed.
I just knew him from doing commentary in WWE befor his release.

He really has great mic skills and his wrestling is not so bad.

Did WWE use him the wrong way?

he was a mark, I loved him but wwe probably thought he was too googly eyed for the business. I still remeber what took him off tv. "i'm marking out!"

I'm a total mark for Matt striker. He was really entertaining as a heel manager on ecw, and I loved his NXT storyline where he got kidnapped by reks and Hawkins and then took his revenge.

I think he was underrated, and a very passionate guy.

For every "I'M MARKING OUT BRO!!!" of Striker, there's an equal counterpart of "It's... it's Christian" of Grisham

My favourite commentator he could put guys over without sucking up to them and actually called the match.He made a good manager as well

He was very good on the mic and should have been better utilized as a manager and/or stayed as a commentator for the WWE. However he had to learn not to be too much of a mark on commentary and cut out all the stupid shit like "IM MARKING OUT [email protected]!!"
