This is really sad. This guy has no personality and loses to anyone. His mic skills are awful. To sum it up he has no talent. They should just release this guy already. Big guys being jobbers is more embarrassing than a small and normal size wrestlers being jobbers. Then again maybe he does deserve this for not improving his mic skills after being in the business for many years. There's no excuse for this shit. Wrestlers should be required to take public speaking classes.

How is he a jobber yet getting a push?
He serves a purpose the same way Kane (until recently), Khali and to an extent Show do. They're the big, overpowering "behemoths" that are still susceptible to losing.

Not that big of a deal and there are certainly worse than him.

Henry is great where he is at. he serves a purpose. everyone cant be a world champion and face of the company. and if you dont reach those heights, it doesnt make you a failure. henry has had a long and successful career. henry was never meant to be the next big thing in wrestling. he has maintained his job for as long as he has by being a great person and using his size and strength to put over people for the betterment of the company and of storylines.. for all the "jobbing" he apparently does, if you cant beat henry, you aren't a significant threat (kayfabe wise). henry is the measuring stick for fans. wade barrett beat henry one on one, which is suppossed to mean that we as fans should take barrett seriously as a one on one competitor.. someone has to be in henry's position.. if not henry, then someone else. henry has found his niche in the company and more power to him for it.

Jobber push?
How does that work?
Is that when a jobber gets booked to loose a world title match?

Henry's fine in the ring and on the mic. Nothing wrong with propping up the mid-card.

Think before posting OP.

Mark Henry has incredible presence; he is a big, big guy; when you are this size you do not need to have exceptional mic skills; in fact, guys who are good on mic are at a premium, so let's on pretend that, somehow, Mark Henry is deficient is this respect because he is not; he is on a par with most of the wrestlers is WWE on mic skills. The Miz is great on mic, so is Chris Jericho, Wade Barrett is another exceptional guy; you can give these guys time on the mic, and they will not waste it. But back to the wrestling: it stretches credulity, too far, to believe that some of the smaller guys in WWE can take on a man of Mark Henry's immensity; he really has to go in with someone who makes you think he might just have enough power to take him down. The Mark Henry vs Wade Barrett match was a crowd pleaser; even with Barrett's height and strength, it looks as if it might be a step too far for Barrett in taking on this big, big man; but getting Mark Henry up on to his shoulders was an extraordinary performance. How many other members of Nexus could have done this? and Mark Henry played his part admirably; it's show time! and the really big guy got taken down, against all expectations. Mark Henry lost nothing by this defeat; to suggest that he is no more than a 'jobber' is nothing less than ridiculous.

Henry is meant to put talent over and thats what he does. He is never going to be a world champion at this stage, he is helping put over younger talent so they look alot better ie Barrett, Miz(maybe), Bourne (when he fueded with him on ECW). Henry is doing a fantastic job and as a servant of 10+ years i doubt we will see him leave for a long time.

mark henry had his run of dominance in ecw. henry is a guy that is used to put over talent. win ever someone needs a respectable win under their belt, they usually face off against henry. see raw main event for example. henry still gets a nice reaction from the crowd and he is solid in getn lower mid carders to upper mid carder status...or making upper mid carders more credible. i like where he is at on the roster

It sure made Wade Barrett look good last night when he hit his finisher on Mark Henry and pinned him. The casual fan would say "holy shit he just beat that big bastard". Wade Barrett became a lot more credible last night after beating Henry 1 on 1.

Thing is they can easily get him over again(to a point), by having him go heel. Have him snap, go heel, destroy a few people, and all of a sudden he's somewhat credible again.

Due to his size, it's not all that hard to do. If they can turn him into a monster after his sexual chocolate/Mae Young days, they can re-establish him after this face jobber run.

As for your "public speaking" comment....it's WRESTLING. You will NEVER have a show where every single guy is "The Rock" on the mic. Get over it. There's like 20+ wrestlers who appear on any particular show....there's not time for all of them to talk, thank God.

Mark Henry plays an enforcers role well, he's a good suprise to pull out to pile on the pressure on heals and I for one have no objections to how he's being used.
