1. Team CMLL d. Team of Honour (10.34). Jerry Lynn took a Moonsault from La Sombra and a three count immediately after. After the match there seem to be some strong signs of disunity in the ROH representative trio, particularly between Homicide and Lynn.

2. Team All Japan d. Team Minchinoku Pro (12.07). Good showing from both teams with especially hot exchanges between high-flyer Yoshitsune of M-Pro and Kaz Hayashi of All Japan. The fans were really into this match throughout and All Japan eventually took the victory after Mutoh hit the Shining Wizard on Shinzaki.

3. Team Chikara d. Team Osaka Pro (6.52). A fun match with plenty of variety ranging from comic spots involving Ebessan III and Quack all the way to strong style exchanges between Billy Ken Kid and Jigsaw. After almost seven minutes at blistering pace, Team Chikara grasped the win following a hugely impressive Kneecolepsy by Frightmare onto Tigers Mask.

4. Team PWG d. Big Japan (10.10). Fans of slick technical wrestling must turn away now, as this was an all-out brawl jam-packed with sick spots, including Sekimoto hitting a Dead Lift German Suplex onto the concrete on Paul London, which resulted in the latter being escorted to the back with an injury. Sekimoto wasn't finished though, and followed London to the back to continue the assault, leaving in 2-on-2 back in the ring, where El Generico eventually snatched the victory via roll-up on Ito.

5. Team New Japan d. Team DDT (17.50). Best match match of the night so far. All 6 men shake hands and then they just go at it like crazy. Ibushi hits a suicide dive on Devitt early and from there the match descends into a form of acrobatic anarchy. Liger looks in great shape and Tanahashi is flying around like a Junior Heavyweight. On the other side, Nakazawa and KUDO are both going a long way to proving their considerable talents, while Ibushi is just being Ibushi; which usually means awesomeness. Devitt hits a Bloody Sunday off the ring apron and onto the floor on KUDO and Liger takes a sick looking Pele Kick while on the top rope from Ibushi, but it's eventually the legend of “Thunder” who is able to get the win for his team, with good ol' Jushin striking back with a Liger Bomb for a three count. After the match, the pinned Ibushi respectfully challenges Liger to a singles match somewhere down the line, which is of course accepted. One for the future to look out for right there, folks.

#. Announcement. Ring announcer Stephen DeAngelis addressed the crowd explaining that as a result of Daisuke Sekimoto's German Suplex, Paul London has suffered an injury which will take him out of tomorrow night's matches for Team PWG. DeAngelis goes onto explain that KOT officials are currently doing everything they can to secure a suitable replacement is found in time.

6. Team Dragon Gate d. Team IWRG (9.47). A welcome return to the action is provided by these two teams, who put together a solid lucha match. Self-elected team leader, CIMA takes the pinfall on Joe Lider with a Crossfire. After the match, at the encouragement of CIMA, Team Dragon Gate attack their fallen opponents, even if Ricochet doesn't look completely happy to be ordered to do so. Eventually several officials come out and stop CIMA from hitting a Frog Splash on Silver King, but it doesn't seem like this we will be seeing of Dragon Gate's leader's devious ways.

7. Team TNA d. Team AAA (13.30). Yet another good match. The Motor City Machine Guns do lots of heavy lifting and it's a nice star vehicle for RVD to get a few of his spots in early on. Team AAA fight back valiantly and Super Crazy (in his best shape in years) shows the agility that made him so famous in the late 90's with a awe-inspiring Asai Moonsault onto Chris Sabin at around the 6 minute mark. Van Dam's Rolling Thunder and Cibernetico's Stunner both bring about near falls. With time wearing on and the pace slowing, Alex Shelley gets caught out going for a Double Axe Handle and is Chokeslammed with authority by 'Netico, which Millonario follows up with a Somersault Leg Drop but Sabin breaks up the pin and sends both men to the outside with a double clothesline, opening the door for Van Dam to send Super Crazy to the mat with a Roundhouse Kick and score the three count after a big Five Star Frog Splash. Team TNA advance to the next round.

8. Team NOAH d. Team Kensuke Office (18.17). The final match of the night and it most definitely does not disappoint. The KENTA/Nakajima exchanges are as stiff and hard-hitting as you'd expect and Miyahara puts in one of the best shifts of his career throwing his weight around and going move for move with both Aoki and Marufuji. The real star of the show is Kensuke Sasaki though, who in a generous showing, takes bumps for all of the NOAH guys, really getting them over as credible threats, while still getting in his offence, which is as crisp as ever. Some of the highlights of the match include Marufuji taking a dangerous Swan Dive on the outside from Miyahara, which takes their brawl over the guard rail and into the fans, as well as KENTA and Aoki both throwing some of their heaviest offence onto Sasaki, with Aoki even managing to hit the Puro legend with a Dropkick which takes Kensuke directly over the top rope. But the match has to conclude eventually. And after 18 minutes of waging war on each other, Team Kensuke Office are the ones to finally relent as KENTA pins Nakajima with the Go 2 Sleep. Following the three count, the 6 men are all given a wonderful ovation from the fans and the final image of the night is each member of the rival sides embracing their fellow warrior in a show of truly admirable sportsmanship.
