Kidd's Position.

I'm sort of unsure if he's gonna stay in NXT when it moves to Florida, but regardless... Do you guys think Tyson Kidd is turning out to be the top-guy of NXT?

He's winning a lot and his feuds are meaningful, he seems like a win over him turns you into a top competitor (for NXT anyway) and a loss doesn't really mean too much.

Or is he just being built up slowly for a move to Superstars/SmackDown?

Thoughts?

He might start appearing on SmackDown more often, but I think he'll stay on NXT. Some of the main roster guys NEED to be on the new NXT in order to distinguish NXT from FCW.
Yea, certainly wont be surprised if there are some shows by mid cards on SD or RAW, like Ryder, Santino, Rhodes, or even Punk. Punk seems to like helping out the new guys.

I think he'll start being used more on Smackdown soon. He's a guy who can get over on ring skills and flashy moves alone and be a stable midcarder. He had a really good showing in that Battle Royal at Over the Limit as well which shows WWE are willing to use him.

All I want for him is to win at least one mid-card title. Kidd will 99% never be a main eventer, but he could reach Kofi status.

First mistake was breaking up The Hart Dynasty, longevity in a successful tag team would have done wonders.

I think the fact that WWE are (really really really) slow building his career could be genius in the long term.

He's an incredible worker and is very innovative.

He does lack charisma, but given opportunity to shine on Smackdown he could be a top midcarder.

Well there is talk of him and Gabriel being a tag team when Gabriel returns from injury, which would be a good combination but Kidd is far to good imo to just be a tag team specialist, whilst he sadly will never main event he would be a good ic champ.

I feel for Kidd, great talent and should be doing good things where I can see them, Because I don't often watch NXT or Superstars that often. I have stopped my hopes for him being used better, because with that Antonio squash match, seems like he ain't going higher. I wouldn't mind him tagging with Justin thou.

It seems like since the tag team titles have turned to a low-card championship, anyone who gets the titles over the SLIGHTEST are considered "permanent tag-team specialists".

Ryder, Hawkins, Kofi, Kidd.

I've said it before and I guess I'll say it again. He should be the top of the undercard-to-2/3-high-in-the-midcard gatekeeper you have to go over to become an Intercontinental/United States Championship contender. Like Tito Santana back in the day or what Shelton Benjamin was apparently on the road to becoming when he was released. Ah well.

I agree that he should be at least somewhere in the midcard or top of the undercard, he has the talent to do so. I do hope he gets a big break after all of this.

It's a shame Kidd has never been pushed seriously in the uppercard ranks. Kidd/Ziggler, Kidd/Swagger, Kidd/Rhodes, Kidd/Cara, Kidd/Mysterio, Kidd/Barrett would all be refreshing matchups in those ranks.
