Good for him, good for NOAH. At least in WWE he won't be punching above his weight, and NOAH can finally put some proper heavyweight onto his place on the totem pole. It's gonna be Marufuji, though, so they're doomed anyway.

Someone on reddit said Kenta said he was going to the major leagues. A translation of NOAH's announcement didn't say that so I'm guessing he said that on his personal facebook, or twitter, or some interview I haven't found. If this is the case, NJPW may also be an option.

Pretty surprising to see considering KENTA was a NOAH guy for years. I'd be surprised to see him go to WWE though. WWE has a terrible track record for using Japanese guys and I don't see KENTA being much different.

Elsewhere, I've seen someone mentioning possibility on Daniel Bryan gaining some influence backstage, which might not be super large, but strong enough to be able to recommend few names here and there. Other than him, Yoshi Tatsu, and maybe Regal/Finlay, I really have no idea who'd push for the signing of KENTA. With Bryan sticking up for him, KENTER actually has decent chances.

NJPW may also be an option.
Not a chance. He wouldn't have to leave NOAH for that. Ibushi didn't have to leave his DDT for that.

TNA would at least keep some essential elements of KENTA's character as they have with past Japanese wrestlers (don't dare bring up Okada). In WWE, he would be repackaged and given a new name and a new finisher no doubt; being short and Japanese alone is reason enough for them to never take him seriously or even bring him up to the main roster.

I think this is just a bad decision all around, but maybe he's confident that he can be the Japanese star to finally break through.

Okada didn't get over in TNA because he's a hack, it had nothing to do with creative or marketing.
I agree, TNA is a marketing juggernaut all over the world. If this Oakata guy had anything, he wouldn't be in Japan working on his jew jitzu.

TNA has only managed to not screw Sanada. They have mishandled everyone else.

I don't want a bunch of dumb TNA hick fans to chant Goku at a Japanese wrestler. Moreover, TNA is trash and bush league.
