Justin Credible Believes Bryan Danielson Has Been Booked 'Terribly' In AEW

Former ECW and WWE star Justin Credible feels that AEW has not utilized Bryan Danielson to his full potential in his current run with the company.

Credible, during his recent interaction with the "Hitting The Turnbuckle" podcast, stated that Danielson was a huge star in pro wrestling just a few years ago, but has been booked badly by AEW.

"I know Bryan Danielson very well, I mean he was one of the biggest stars on the planet just a couple of years ago, and they've done a horrible job with him," said Credible.

He thinks that AEW's young stars could benefit hugely from the expertise and experience of the likes of Danielson, but pointed out a possible reason for them not coming together backstage.

"Not to have him [Danielson] in some way pick these guys' brains, I just would imagine that everybody would have come together a lot easier," stated the veteran star. "I think there's so much ego involved, it blows my mind, because ECW, the way it worked was there was no ego."

Credible has heard through the grapevine that a few of the younger stars in AEW are selfish and don't want to work with the veteran stars in the company. He said AEW stars don't want to take advice from veterans like Dean Malenko or Jerry Lynn, both of whom work as backstage producers. He reasoned why these veteran stars are still a part of AEW despite having their hands tied behind the scenes.

"I just feel like people are being paid good, maybe too good, and they're just like, 'F**k this, let me just do the bare minimum what I'm asked, let's ride this train till the wheels fall off, make our money and go home,'" said Credible.

BCC died the moment Regal left to me, though even then it was on life support.

Castagnoli and Moxley don't need this stable and making them constantly be in tag division and doing backstage beatups is a bit lame. Danielson doesn't need this group either. Only one who does because it improves his relevance is boring as shit even with them and that is Wheeler Yuta.
And yet they’re all blatantly enjoying being in this group.
When he debuted i felt him along with the debuts of adam cole and punk were gonna be big game changers. Fast forward a year and a half and here we are. He had had some good moments but losing to dudes like garcia doesn’t help matters. BCC was kinda cool at first and i still find them enertaining at times but they really need to drop the blackpool part of the name and just go by the Combat Club. Also, does brian danielson or moxley really need to be in a stable?

I'm sure they do.
I thought that the promos Bryan was cutting during that feud were entertaining and obviously those matches were incredible
I don’t even remember him having promos. All I remember is “Bryan wants to wrestle some goofs, because he has missed actual wrestling matches.”
For the most part he has with several losses to Jericho. It speaks volumes about his in ring work that he can just pick up to being highly praised so quickly, as he did with the MJF match after a very lacklustre build
BCC isn't close to being the best on AEW TV, I groan when I see them, Claudio and Wheeler are boring af ,moxley forgot how to wrestle, and Bryan is great as the mouthpiece.
I agree. BD was one of the biggest stars in WWE for the last 10 years, now it feels like he is less important in AEW. TK is so clueless. He blew it big time.

Danielson jumped ship to wrestle on his terms and enjoy his own creative freedoms. TK's not forcing him to do anything he doesn't want to.

If BD was enjoying superman booking and destroying everyone on the roster every week TK would be getting slated by the usual dunderheads with garbage like 'why's he letting the ex WWE guy beat all the AEW guys?', 'TK can't build his own stars', 'I'm sick of boring Danielson, he's always been a no drawing vanilla midget'.

I was a huge fan of Daniel Bryan when he was in WWE. It was to the point where seeing him in AEW made me wanna watch the show. Sadly I no longer see him as the same star. I am a story type of guy the stories he is given are mid. Got bored of his matches in the MJF feud. Right now Danielson just feels like another guy. No longer the star he once was. Long live the Yes movement. Bryan will be missed.

He’s lost all 5-6 of his world title matches and even fucking lost to Daniel Garcia without elevating him. Fuck his booking in AEW.

BTW, Justin Credible sucked and his ECW World Title reign marked the beginning of the end. Paul E. only strapped him up because WWF and WCW didn't want him.
WCW did want him actually, he was mates with Hall,.Nash and Waltman.

He worked with WWE several times.
Not gonna lie, I thought Justin Credible and Christopher Daniels were the same person for over a decade.

If they were serious, they would have got him. Credible would have run to the exit door to be with his Kliq pals, and ECW's contracts were written on tissue paper.
it’s felt like he’s just kind of been there for the past 16-17 months. His initial stuff was great. The debut. The match with omega. The series of matches with hangman.

.. but he’s been kind of beaten into powder when you really evaluate it. MJF beat him. Hangman beat him. Mox beat him 3-4 times. Jericho beat him 3 times. Daniel Garcia tapped him out.

then he’s basically just been another guy in the BCC when he should be a main event talent standing on his own. Or if not on his own, then the definite LEAD guy in his own group.
The idea of Justin Credible in WCW is weird. I'd guess he feuds with Terry Funk for the hardcore title or joins the Misfits in Action. Maybe joins Team Canada.

Well he's entertained me with everything he's done frankly. Incapable of having a bad match, in fact he's featured all over in what would be widely considered the best matches they've done. Great on the mic, that shiteating grin he has in the BCC is worth the price of admission itself.

He doesn't need the belt, the likes of Kenny and Hangman and MJF did which is why he put them over. He's not concerned with being Hogan, HHH, Bret or Shawn where he's constantly protecting himself and to me that's refreshing.

Incapable of having a bad match
Put him in the ring with Will Ospreay and he'll prove that notion wrong.

He doesn't need the belt,
He doesn't need the belt, but the belt needs him.

It's hard to argue the numbers wouldn't be better than they are now.

AEW has done a number on Danielson and this is why wrestlers should have no say in their booking. That stupid excuse "He doesn't want the title". Newsflash, the fans in the arena who want him to win the title don't give a fuck what he wants. AEW as a business has a responsibility to the audience.
