When do you think he's gonna debut? It's just kind of funny that Brodus Clay has been doing well on Smackdown by serving as Del Rio's enforcer while Curtis is still nowhere to be seen despite winning NXT, it seems so far the winners of NXT (with the exception of Wade Barrett) never really amount to something.

I actually like Curtis, he's got a good look and is a decent worker, his pro is gonna compete in the main event at Extreme Rules so i don't think R-Truth will use Curtis's tag titles shot anytime soon, but i actually get this feeling that WWE will probably introduce Curtis in the midst of Truth's current push when Truth possibly gets put in a high profile feud with Cena after ER, because to me other than being a cannon fodder i think that's one of possible reasons that would explain why R-Truth gets a push out of nowhere considering he's been quite underdeveloped as a character to warrant a WWE title match, Curtis would definitely benefit a lot from working with Cena. Well, it's just a feeling, i could be wrong of course.

It is a bit odd that Clay has already had a match as NXT runner up. Even a highlight spot facing up against Kane.

TBH Clay is offers something different whereas Curtis is a bit anonymous. I though Clay would win. Maybe creative are struggling to find an angle?

Isnt it obvious? NXT winners get shat on while the runners up always leave them trailing.

Season 1 - Daniel Brian is the US champ, Barret has yet to win a title

Season 2 - Kaval. Pretty much self explanatory whilst Riley and Henning are doing pretty well

Yeah, Curtis seems a bit "generic" as some people would say while Clay has more uniqueness to him, he can work the mic well and has a great look for a monster heel, i think he will have a better career than Curtis based on that. And yeah i think they don't have anything planned for Curtis right now, Clay debuted on Raw during RTWM, Sin Cara debuted on Raw after WM and Awesome Kong will also debut soon, maybe they just wait for the right time when a lot of people are watching to debut Curtis to give him big exposure, i think debuting him in Cena/Truth feud will be good for him.

And i am happy he isn't, he is the most dull, boring thing to come along a long time ago. You couldn't built a more generic FCW Fratboy with Smackdown vs RAW if you tried to. Clay is deservingly given the Spotlight as he will come far, Bryan's Rookie will also be given a chance i am very sure as soon as he is back from injury, he actually is unique.

I have no idea who this guy is (I've seen him on screen for about 30 seconds) but I've been wondering where he is. The last 2 winners have totally disappeared off the radar.

And anyway, Wade's opening Nexus push was far more substantial than anything Daniel Bryan got.

:lmao Riley and Hennig are getting shit on. In Riley's case, it's extremely unfortunate because he could actually be a star, but that's how it goes.

I honestly thought that Bateman was going to win NXT. He was easily the most well rounded of the NXT contestants. Curtis is decent on the mic, but from what I saw, he was sloppy as hell in the ring. I find him somewhat entertaining though. Clay has size, but that is it. He has no quality that makes him entertaining.

Unfortunately true. Bryan got about a 4 week feud for the US title, and then nothing. That is not suprising though, since Barret was the winner of NXT season 1, and Bryan was pretty much given the title just to get it off of Miz.

Wait, he won NXT? I assumed Clay did considering he has been on RAW and SD for weeks now.
Yeah Curtis won NXT Season 4, Brodus Clay was the runner-up. Clay cut a great promo in the finale after he lost, i think you should check it out.

IMO Curtis just does not shine in any area... like OP's favorite Ted. I'm glad more entertaining wrestlers are on my screen
The problem with Curtis is, he was always outshined by other contestants on NXT such as Derrick Bateman who really had a great chemistry with his pro Daniel Bryan both in comedy bits and in the ring, and also Brodus Clay whose personality made him stand out and he was the best mic worker of this season IMO, Curtis just didn't stand out against them, however, that doesn't make Curtis a bad talent by any means, i honestly think he's pretty decent talent overall, out of all NXT Season 4 contestants personally i think Curtis was the one who impressed me the most when it comes to in ring ability, i wouldn't mind seeing him in the roster, he and R-Truth can enhance the tag team division if needed.

He might be 'good' in the ring, but that certaintly won't propel him above the midcard. I think Trent Baretta / Tyson Kidd has better in-ring skills, see where those skills got them? He needs to have 'great' in-ring skills to even have a chance to be where Morrison and Ziggler are on the card, but he doesn't.

Ha, I completely forgot about him until I read this thread.
I'd completely forgotten who this dude was. Obviously there's no plans for him yet, so in that respect it's good they're holding him back.

I'm still waiting for Percy Watson.

Riley was part of the main-event at WrestleMania.
