John Cena may have left WrestleMania 30 with his legacy intact after defeating Bray Wyatt, but The Eater of Worlds is far from finished with his legendary foe. Wyatt will continue his devilish quest to unleash the monster that he believes resides inside Cena at Extreme Rules on May 4, when the two clash in a Steel Cage Match.

Wyatt has made it clear from the outset that he is determined to reveal Cena’s virtuous persona, and that his mantra of “Hustle, Loyalty, Respect” is nothing more than a façade hiding the nasty underbelly of the 14-time World Champion. In the midst of a chaotic battle that saw Cena take out both Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, Wyatt gave the Cenation leader a steel chair and begged Cena to bash him with it. Cena refused to give in to The New Face of Fear’s beckoning, conquering his fears and countering Sister Abigail into an Attitude Adjustment to claim victory.

Just days after his defeat at WrestleMania, an eerily happy Wyatt sent a message to Cena on SmackDown. The Eater of Worlds declared that he was willing to go to new extremes to bring out his foe’s ugly side. The Cenation leader embraced Wyatt’s eagerness to get hardcore on the April 14 edition of Raw, challenging his demonic rival to the steel cage showdown. While Wyatt seemed downright giddy at the prospect of being locked inside the cage with Cena, the 14-time World Champion was much more grim, warning The New Face of Fear that he should be very afraid once the cage door is locked.

Will Cena’s heroics be enough to triumph over The Eater of Worlds, or will Wyatt prove that he truly has the whole world in his hands and unleash the monster within the 14-time World Champion? Find out at Extreme Rules, live on WWE Network and pay-per-view on Sunday, May 4, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
I hate rematches but I think this feud is interesting.

Re: John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt - Extreme Rules match

That should be a GREAT match. Cena usually doesnt disappoint in these kind of matches and im sure Bray wont either.

Just hope the story doesnt interfere too much in the match. That Cena is hell bent on not using any objects on Bray until the final moment.

Just have the two beat the hell out of each other and it will be great.

Re: John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt - Extreme Rules match

I'm really not into the whole 'Cena should have put Wyatt over at 'Mania' stuff. The outcome was irrelevant - Wyatt came out looking like a million bucks & had a strong showing during their 'Mania match. Sometimes, coming out on the loosing end of a contest is the best route to take. Saying that though, Wyatt is due his return victory at Extreme Rules. I'm looking forward to seeing how they approach the angle over the upcoming weeks.

Steel Cage Match. Wyatt's going to win via fuckery that's going to make him look like a mid card jabroni. Fuck Me. Just let Wyatt go over clean on Cena, it's not going to affect Cena AT ALL.

Either Bray Wyatt wins by not pinning Cena or Cena wins regardless. Either way, they wasted the match that mattered with a Cena win, this PPV is irrelevant and won't do anything for Bray, so Cena wins and Wyatt loses no matter what happens.

This is how they build future stars in WWE. God help us all.

This may be wishful thinking but I think the best way to end this match is to end this match with bray hitting a sister Abigail and going over clean I think if they do that the steel cage is the best possible match because the rest of the family is cut off and it would show that bray can really win without the Wyatt family.

Cage Match at PPV? WWE come on...

Back when I used watch WWE in 5th grade there was cage matches like every week. No what's WWE come to?
Cage matches during PPV events? LAME...
I expected John Cena to announce something cool like an "I Quit Match" or "Falls Count Anywhere."
I know it's not a big deal but WWE needs to stop being cheap. It's making more money than TNA and they hardly put effort into their story lines anymore... Or put effort into intense matches...

Cage matches don't have the same appeal to me anymore. Hell, they hardly use the damn thing. Rhodes Bros vs New Age Outlaws was a regular match.

Except for Cody Rhodes doing a moonsault of the cage...
