It looks Cena wil break Wwe recognized Ric's 16 world titles
So just asking who is the bigger star?

Think and answer

Flair-Legend.Face of the companies he wrestled. But truth be told,he was never a huge draw compared to the other 80's icon-Hogan

Cena-Been the face of the company for more than 5 yrs.Still 34 Onli. But gets a negative reaction plenty of times. But is also the biggest draw in his time.

Flair

Flair is known as a top guy when pro wrestling was good and naturally got 16 reigns over a long period of time.

Cena represents the change for the worse WWE has become. It is not his fault but for many fans he represents the garbage that WWE has turned into. And his reigns were too many in a short period of time. Also titles in general don't mean the same now as when Flair held them. They have become meaningless.

so I think Flair will be seen as a bigger star to most people (not just wrestling fans) in the world.

This poll legit offends me. FLAIR COMPARED TO CENA?!?!?!?!? Is this a joke? Least there are only 2 retards who voted for Cena so far.

No matter how good Cena is, there's always going to be haters. No, Cena does not suck. He's one of the best in the WWE over the last few years. He's charismatic but also has that presence that is unteachable. Kids and women don't just love him because of how the company have pushed him. They love him because when you look at him, you see a huge star, who was destined to be just that.

However, since people don't want to recognise that, as with Heartbreakid's post, people are still going to say that he sucks after he's retired. Which is a shame, because he doesn't.

Flair is the answer here. The right answer too, I just don't like posts like 'cena sucks', when he quite obviously doesn't. The only thing that sucks is him being forced to us so often.

Flair got his belts in several promotions, legitimately. He didn't have a bunch of 1 and 2 month "reigns." Flair wasn't even in the double digits until his 40s. Cena has had more titles than years training and wrestling, which is completely insane.

Cena is kind of like Edge with a different clothing line, except Cena doesn't need to find his opportunities and pick his battles. He is handed 20, 30 title shots a year on a silver platter because he is John Cena.

It is WWE's style of booking, and has been since the late 90s. It isn't fair to slam Cena in that respect.
Flair was clearly the superior wrestler, though. For what that counts. And there really is no comparison on promos. One is a fine, kid-friendly superhero face and the other is a GOD GOD GOD!

Flair by a mile. Flair gave us many more meaningful and great matches. He matches with Steamboat alone offers us more than Cena has ever given in the ring.

Flair gave us the 4 Horseman, which paved the way and set the standard in which all future stables followed.

His title reigns were much longer and fan only wanted the belt off of him when he was a heel. Fans now want the belt off Cena badly and he is the face of the company.

Flair put over talent. When was the last time Cena lost cleanly to a tag team specialist like Ricky Morton. I'm going to dare say never since becoming the top face.

Flair could do both heel and face as the the top man. We have never seen Cena as the top heel, so I will reserve judgement.

I will also dare say that Flair was more valuable to the NWA in 80's and early 90's than Cena is to WWE now. I seriously think that the product would improve if Cena left for a while. I never thought that with Flair

Number of title reigns is a joke now so even if Cena breaks Flair's record it won't mean shit

Ric Flair would freak out and do a blade job just to please a big fan and it would be glorious.

Here is a little something to chew on, Cena's current championship pace. He's won the belt 7 times from September 09-September 11. He'll be crapping all over Flair's number in 3 years. Cena is already at 12 and it just seems to be absolutely mandatory that Cena is champ at least twice a year.

Cena will always be the bigger draw no matter what

By the time he retires,Onli Austin,Rock and Hogan will be bigger than him

Man you seriously overestimated Cena's current drawing power.

Flair was a huge draw back in the day btw.

This is a stupid thread, Ric Flair is hands down the greatest ever. It will be a long long time before someone like him comes along, he is one in a million.

Ric Flair sold out every gate back in the 80's .. the dude use to wrestle two or three times a night and people didn't get enough of him

his feud with sting was pure gold back in WCW/NWA

he was a huge draw no one can deny that

you could talk about him booking himself to be the champion but the fact he had many people who tried to bury him badly like that fat glob dusty rhodes who was also a booker
