Re: John Cena confirmed for Fast and Furious 9. I’M PUMPED

I expect John and Dwayne to feud forever in those movies like anime/manga characters and never comeback to WWE or AEW.

They make a good prick trio with Vin.

This franchise is getting worse on creative decisions. Thrice in a lifetime? You won't take my money.

Re: John Cena Joins Cast Of "Fast And Furious 9" Movie

I don't think it was ever revealed exactly why, it was all very cryptic but they got into some kind or argument on set and there was some comment about vin saying rock was lazy or something and rock essentially saying that vin was problematic.

my guess is that vin and rock are similar kinds of guys in terms of the characters they play and vin might feel abit threatened by rock's inclusion in the films as vin is supposed to be the "tough guy".

probably just a stupid battle of egos I expect and thats why there was no real reason, just basically a pathetic argument boiled out nothing.
Dwayne reportedly had issues with Vin's work ethic. Vin would regularly show up late and adjust the filming schedule to suit himself whilst Rock was all about the work and is known as a pretty good guy on sets.

I personally cannot stand vin diesel as an actor. He is pretty darn dreadful all things considered. He plays the same moody plank of wood in any film Ive seen him in.

I honestly wouldnt be surprised in the slightest if he is an arrogant and difficult individual. He is probably one of these "do you know who I am?" personalities.

Yeah, him & Paul Walker didn't get on either apparently and the Walker family accused him of cashing in on Paul's death.

As well as issues on I think it was XXX 3 where he made crew walk to difficult locations whilst he flew in lol.

I think that’s the exact reason. Rock is VERY PROFESSIONAL and has strict schedules he adheres to like waking up at 4am to work out with zero exceptions. I can def see vin having a lazier mindset with time and if rock is on set at 3pm and vin decided to show up at 3:35...that would def piss rock off. The crew has to just deal with it as vin is the star and controls the set so they can’t bitch much.

I did read something to do with that, some people are like that when people die. They suddenly talk like they were great friends when in reality they are only mildly friendly at best. I don't really know why but it does happen. Maybe it just boils down to some kind of guilt. Tends to be the way of the world, no-one cares when you're alive, everyone loves you when your dead.

I did always find the fast furious movie in which they wrote paul walker out to be somewhat in bad taste. I mean yeah it was nice to give him that send off but Im sure they made a shit tonne more money off that movie as a result of it having that somewhat morbid curiosity over paul walkers death.

Its a fine line but even that song "see you again" managed to do very well of the back of it.

Hopefully it's better than Fate of the Furious.

Not sure how it's Universal's fault that the fans went in droves to see Furious 7. Was The Dark Knight in poor taste for making more money as a result of Heath Ledger's death?

Stopped at Fast Five.
That's the best one

so its not the studios fault for essentially profiting off the death of a person because people came to see it? surely thats the whole point, they knew some money could be made so went ahead with it.

plus heath ledger is different because they didnt even mention his death in the movie. Any additional interest generated around the movie is unavoidable, the movie was already completed and stands as it would if he was still alive. They actually went out of their way to finish the F&F movie using his brothers as stand ins etc.

they even scaled back the marketing for ledgers part in the dark knight after he passed away and started focussing more on batman yet the furious film went as far as to use "one last ride" as a tagline for the movie with images such as this to push the death of walker as a main point which was then addressed within the movie with a commercial song to go along with it.

basically dark knight didnt attempt to use ledgers death as a means to pull people in, it was simply the last movie he was in, F&F 7 made it its talking point.
