In all honesty, I commend John Cena for doing the charity work that he does. I don't think even the biggest of Cena haters hate anything about the real life John Cena. He's a great guy, I'm sure. But wow, I don't think anyone gets as much publicity for doing charity work than Cena. Maybe Vince/WWE is to blame for that, but still. We get it, Vince. John does charity.

Say what you want about Cena the character but the guy outside of wrestling is a true decent guy and him doing this charity work is amazing. Also theres no way hes ever turning heel Cena is loved by kids so much that Vince will keep him face for his whole career. Cena sells the most merchandise which kids buy so Vince isnt gonna ruin that by turning him heel

If Cena turning Heel is going to take away that ability to put a smile on kid like him's face from Cena, then I would never have him turn heel ever.
If I was Cena, I'd love making those kids happy, so much so that I wouldn't want to ever turn heel. Even though he gets a whole lot of hate from us, seeing their smiles must make him think "this is what it's all about!"

This and some comments in the Lawler heart attack promo thread are the reason why wrestling sucks today because the 7y old kids from the AE were tougher than the Twilight WWE fans of today.

Hulk Hogan had also many kids as fans when he turned heel 1996, just like Bret 1997, The Undertaker in 1998, Stone Cold 2001 or The Rock in 2003.
What he does outside the ring should not affect his character in WWE. If making kids happy is more important than making his character and the place where he works more exciting then he picked the wrong profession.
You knew 15 years ago when Raw was over and when you met Bret Hart that he will shake your hand and make a photo with you because you knew the difference between Bret Hart as person and his character.
Even Justin Bieber fans knew that when he played the bad guy in CSI that it will not affect his popularity and here we have some wrasslin fans defending Cena's shitty stale gimmick with some gay comments.
Even Bieber fans are tougher than some of you LOL

Heelturn should not affect his popularity. If the children can't tell the difference between show and reality than this is the fault of the parents, not of WWE or John Cena.

There are many villains who were cool and popular to the kids in the past like Terminator, Skeletor, Darth Vader, Mikey Myers and all evil characters from the Batman comics, even in wrestling with nWo, DX, Stone Cold, Roddy Piper or Cactus Jack but to be honest these are really stupid examples because these are the bad guys from the past generations and comparing the past generation and the current is like comparing Bruce Lee and Boy George
