- Ring of Honor has officially announced our next iPPV broadcast on February 26, 2011 in Chicago Ridge, IL and it will be ROH’s “9th Anniversary Show”!!! Three bouts are already set for this GoFightLive broadcast, with both the ROH World Title & the ROH World Tag Titles scheduled to be on the line with plenty more matches to come. For more information on the card: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/9th-anniversary-show-set-for-ippv/. Tickets are available for ROH’s “9th Anniversary Show” here: http://www.rohstore.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=201.

- Going into 2011 there are three different yet very accomplished men locked into ROH World Championship matches. The pressure is on reigning ROH World Champion Roderick Strong who goes into his 3rd defense on January 15th, 2011 against Jay Briscoe in a match that’s become about more than just the title. The winner of that bout will go to Los Angeles on January 28th and battle the man whose 2010 was filled with more heart and passion then anybody on the ROH roster, El Generico. Finally, whoever survives that championship main event will headline ROH’s “9th Anniversary Show” against Homicide on February 26th LIVE on iPPV. With the price of gold going up daily, the stakes for the championship are at an all-time high at the start of the New Year! However, ROH Champion Roderick Strong is ready for the challenge that lies ahead, “I focus on whoever is next in line,” said Strong. “Right now, Jay Briscoe wants to stick his nose in my business well he’s the one with my undivided attention.”

- Just announced today: a Four Corner Survival pitting El Generico vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Kenny King vs. Homicide (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/four-corner-survival-signed-for-charlotte/)! Two men are set to challenge for the World Title, one man is set to challenge for the Tag Titles, and the fourth finds himself in pursuit of a shot at those Tag belts. Which competitor will prove successful in ROH’s first weekend of 2011? Get your tickets for ROH’s Charlotte return to find out live: http://www.rohstore.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=210!

- A rematch pitting Adam Cole & Kyle O’Reilly vs. The Bravado Brothers has been officially signed for Charlotte, NC on 1/15. Back in November at “Fate Of An Angel II” in Mississauga, ON the Bravado Brothers were booed out of the building and didn’t take kindly to the reaction. The Bravados were upset and confused by the lack of support. “I hear they only like their own kind up North and I think O’Reilly is Canadian,” said Lance, “We didn’t even show the DVD of the match to our family at Christmas dinner because of the reaction.” The Bravados hail from Draper, NC and when talking about the home field advantage Harlem had this to say, “It is a completely different story this time around as we got our hometown crowd behind us and they are probably going to boo Cole and O’Reilly out the building on January 15th. Grandma always said what goes around comes around.”

- Save $5 Off the original price on tickets for both events next weekend in Richmond, VA and Charlotte, NC until this Thursday morning at ROHWrestling.com. Richmond features the first ever ROH Champions (Roderick Strong, Kings of Wrestling, Christopher Daniels) vs. ROH All Stars (Davey Richards, The Briscoes, El Generico) match and Charlotte includes Davey Richards vs. Chris Hero in their first traditional one-on-one match in an ROH ring plus the World Title and TV Title will be defended.

- The All Night Express (Kenny King and Rhett Titus), “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett with Brutal Bob, Adam Cole, and Kyle O’Reilly have all officially signed for the “ROH on HDNet” TV Tapings on 1/21 and 1/22 in Philadelphia, PA at The Asylum Arena (former New Alhambra Arena/ECW Arena). We will have match announcements shortly on rohwrestling.com. Get your tickets now: http://www.rohwrestling.com/store.php?sec=cat&cat=30.

- Andy “Right Leg” Ridge had what many are considering a very successful Trial Series of 5 matches against established ROH veterans that concluded on December 17th against Christopher Daniels. Although Ridge was unable to pick up a win in any of the matches, as Christopher Daniels said, “You don’t have the experience yet, but you definitely have the heart.” Ridge showed enough determination and will to succeed that it has earned him an opportunity on January 14th in Richmond, VA.

- Colt Cabana was happy with his Final Battle hold-for-hold match with TJ Perkins and hopes ROH signs him to more matches with opponents like Perkins. “TJ was the perfect example of what I have been asking for.” Stated Cabana, “He is a man of honor and I hope ROH continues to put me in there with opponents who uphold the same sportsmanlike behavior.” Cabana has officially signed for ROH’s return to Los Angeles, California on 1/28 at “Wrestlereunion 5”. Tickets are available now for ROH’s return to Los Angeles: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/los-angeles-ca-january-28th-2/, and for more information on the WrestleReunion 5 convention please visit: http://www.wrestlereunion.com/.

- Spots are filling up fast for the Ring of Honor training seminar and tryout camp on Sunday, January 23rd, 2011, from 10AM to 7PM. It will take place at ROH’s headquarters and training center in suburban Philadelphia. Our previous seminars that we have held have each been a huge reason in the signing of Mike Bennett and recent use in the House of Truth of Michael Elgin. This is not just an audition where you pay money and get nothing in return. Everyone, both ROH and the attendees, will learn something. More info available here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/roh-tryout-camptraining-seminar-announced.

I really hope Roderick Strong doesn't lose the title to El Generico. Strong/Richards rematch from Final Battle will be cool to see but if they wanted to use Davey that way they should have just had him be the challenger instead of Homicide. Oh well. I'm sure it will be Roderick vs. Homicide because the Glory By Honor ending segment was a foreseeing of it. Maybe Davey will figure out a way to get booking in Japan. That doesn't seem hard to do seeing how he's the number 1 wrestler in North America available at the moment.
