How genuine do you think J.R.'s reaction was when Taker threw Foley off of the Cell? That's one of the few times where I felt like an announcer just truly said the first thing that came to mind. I always thought when he said "they've" killed him, he was either talking about the WWF in general for staging something like that or whomever thought up the table spot in the first place. Anyway, it's probably the most infamous call in modern wrestling, whether he knew it was coming or not.

I think JR was just caught in the moment...

I don't even think the bookers, vince knew that spot was going to happen...though perhaps JR thought they did.

I don't think JR knew about that spot though...

I thought it was a fact that JR said he didn't want to be made aware of any big spot in the match because he wanted his reactions genuine.

If you want genuine reaction, it's Lawler's "That's it, he's dead" after the second fall. I know we are talking about the first spot, but that 2nd "spot" was plain, old unplanned. And Lawler was probably reacting in a sickened way b/c it was a disgusting fall.
