Actually Masters of Pain is normaly the best death match tounrament done every year. This is the first one since 09 because IWA EC didnt come back untill last year.

I still maintain that MOP 2008 is in the top 5 of American death match tournaments. Absolutely dynamite card. Thumbtack Jack vs Ito is really good.

These names make me think that it can't be that bad. There are enough guys in it that I've seen before so that has to be a good sign. I would imagine MASADA will go pretty far in the tournament so it's probably good for at least 2, maybe 3 MASADA matches which means it won't be that bad.

Watch out for Ron Mathis in this. Hes pretty damn solid. Had a really good match at Carnage Cup then a really good match with Havoc at Cindo de Mayo.

Yeah, it was apperantly a breakout match for Ron. Hope to see him around in CZW more now. Hopefully havoc, Masada, Moore, and Tremont will put a good word in for him.

Hehe, I just started with IWA-EC Masters Of Pain 2006. Only seen 3 matches so far but it has a great line-up for deathmatch fans (JC Bailey, Younger, Kasai, Corp, 2 Tuff Tony, Deranged, Pondo, Toby Klein). Definitely looking forward to seeing this one.

Masters Of Pain 2009 was actually one of the first DM tournaments I watched, Miyamoto is the star of that show.. it was a great fucking tournament all the way through.

He was in a 3 way against Havoc and Tremont, how he looked there?

He looked better ins his singles against Havoc a month or so before that match. He didnt too much offense in. He took a big bump down some stairs and a bump onto a ladder set up on 2 chairs with lightubes on it.

I hated Tremont when I first saw him debut in CZW, but I've really come around to him. He seems to have lost a lot of weight and he's improved in the ring. I was expecting to see him win TOD11 to be honest to further the storyline with DJ. But either way it's great to see him win this. I'm also a huge Masada fan but he didn't need the win, and I'm sure Tremont/Masada was brutal.

This sounds like the weakest MOP in history though. What ever happened to Damien 666 being in it? I don't really follow IWA East Coast but I'm sure I read that he was supposed to be included at one point
