Is WWE WrestleMania 30 Expected To Sell Out?

-- There are only a limited amount of tickets left for Wrestlemania XXX through traditional means. The Mercedes-Benz Superdome has sent a mailer to people that offers discount tickets. This means that they don't think they're going to sell out at this point in time without lowering the price. There are still over 8,000 tickets available on Stubhub, which are selling either at market value or lower (for the cheaper seats). Only the good seats are going above market value. The first few rows (only a few singles available) are selling for $10,000 each.

Bottom line - the stadium will be full on April 6 but the ticket demand isn't as high as the last two years.

Not that surprising as it's one of the weakest build ups in quite some time.

Wow 6,000 seats! No way they have only sold 64,000 seats?! This is the end of the world! Who cares they'll obviously sell them

They've already sold most of them. It's just the people that purchased them are having a tough time reselling them.
The build up doesn't matter for WrestleMania when it comes to selling tickets. The name 'WrestleMania' sells itself.
Last year had the power of the New York market.
Two years ago had the Rock in his first singles match in years.

Not very surprising news.

Sorry but i'll disagree with you on that one. It's been one of the better build up's in my opinion.

And as for the tickets sales, they'll sell it out, no problem.
Hopefully the stadium will be full come WM 30. It looks bad if you see empty seats at wrestlemania.
When I saw this thread at first I thought it was the other type of sell out. Wonder who will sell out at WM or after' Mania.

It is not something new...Many people here have stated that they are waiting for the ticket prices to go down before they buy one...The stadium will be sell out no matter what..

They will sell out, but why do you believe this has been one of the better build ups? Trips and Bryan has had a long and steady build, but other than that nothing. Batista and Orton have had literally nothing built. Taker and Lesnar, also pretty much nothing. Taker stabbed Lesnar with a pencil. But meh. I don't believe either of the midcard titles are being defended. And I honestly can't name another match besides the tag match which makes no sense, and also has no build. The only build that was worse than this one I believe was 27. I happened to go to 27 and enjoyed the event, but the build was awful.

That's not to say this can't still be a good Mania. I don't believe it has any chance to be great or special, but it can be good. But I don't recall any real build to anything outside of Daniel Bryan.
It would be nice if they sold out. I'm not sure they will though.
Its the biggest event in wrestling history, the 30th anniversary! Its bound to sell out before the event.
