I'm a fan of WWE and have given TNA a go on a couple of occasions in different years but it was always just kind of boring even though it seemed as if it shouldn't have been. Story lines weren't interesting, crowds kinda sucked, and even with what seemed like a lot of good talent nothing very special match-wise. They didn't seem to do much to take advantage of their PG-13 ( I think it's PG-13) rating either. Is it any better now? Judging by this forum I'm assuming not.

There's the occasional good match or promo. Don't expect too much so you won't be disappointed.

One of the biggest problems with watching TNA is that the brand name is so damaged and universally hated at this point that it's difficult to stay positive about it. Most people just watch it so they can pick the show apart, that's part of the fun involved. It's easier to profess to being a WWE fan and ignore TNA's presence, even if they did occasionally come up with some good wrestling.

Personally I just enjoy a good match and some of the wrestlers in TNA are capable of pulling a good match so I will check it if there's something worth watching. The last show had a match with thumbtacks and barbed wire boards involved so if you miss hardcore and other gimmick matches, TNA does offer that. Perhaps too much, some might say.

TNA has always had more potential than it delivered. I haven't watched in quite some time either, but for a good while they were much better than WWE even with all of its flaws. Sad that they could never really get it together.

I understand what you mean by "kind of boring even when it seemed like it shouldn't be." I felt the same way.

Good news though. Things have changed.

And for the first time in the history of TNA wrestling, I feel like they're not only good ... but CONSISTENTLY GOOD.

They got a lot of story lines going on. They finally have a quality champ. Matches have always been good, so there's that.

If you can grab the last six weeks or so, I think you'll be pleased.

Or you can just watch tomorrow.

Hope they don't suck now that I've said that. Haha.

Don't make threads to ask for an opinion if you should watch. Refer to a more stable thread like an Impact discussion thread or Match/DVD/Show for a topic like this. Or just sit down and watch one week and see how you take to it. No other opinion out there better than your own.
