Is Saraya the worst signing ever?

In terms of a "major star"? I think she runs away with being the worst.

Although I never saw what the big deal with her was in the first place. I didn't watch NXT when she was there. My first experience with her was that terrible AJ Lee feud and their botch filled match after people hyped her up as the next big thing in wrestling.

I'll go with Andrade.

Obviously the joke signings like Best Friends, Sonny Kiss, Oil Boy, Stunt and the many others who never should've left the backyard would win but I assume you're talking about actual signings that had some hope of getting over.
Yesh big money contracts brought to add significantly to the company. In her case, she’s a negative as she manages to make a green division look even more amateur than ever before. And they were just getting some heat and gaining at least some respect with Storm and Hayter paving the path but she came and set them 50 steps back. Was AJ Lee just not available? Her neck is fucked too but at least she can promo and could get another woman over that way.

Big Show and Henry. Both were on big money in WWE so obviously signed with AEW on even bigger contracts and have had combined 2(?) matches in 2 years...
Fucking Big Show. How many more lifelines and makeovers has this guy been thrown to make him seem like a star when he's just a big goof.

Jesus thus is just insanely stupid......

Neither men were hired to be in ring talent they just have the option to wrestle occasionally if they choose.

As far as contracts they definetly aren't making more in AEW they are commentators with backstage roles......wtf are you even talking about?:badass:

Not even close to the worst signing. Andrade is for sure ahead of her on that. Plus the fact that Tony Khan has signed other talent like Ryan Nemeth and Matt Sydal. AQA was basically only known for the SSP and then she decided to leave wrestling months after TK signed her. I could go on.

Nemeth is a nobody outside of being the lesser known Nemeth and Sydal was always just gonna be a midcarder or tag guy.
As far as actual hype goes, people like Ruby Soho, Andrade, and Saraya have to top the list. People were hyping her as the missing piece to the women’s division around here at one point.

Lower level signings aren't a big enough deal to be bad. Even Andrade wasn't really hyped up that highly from what I remember.

Saraya has to be up there for sure given the fact that she was supposed to be a complete gamechanger for the women, and instead has only hurt the entire division so far.

Andrade had some good TV matches with Cody and PAC. Wight and Henry haven't been utilised well as on screen talents but nothing they've done has been harmful to the show.

Apart from the initial pop Saraya's flopped. TK trusted her to get over on the mic as a marquee babyface and she couldn't have misjudged her audience more. She thought trying to big time Britt would get her over FFS.

In the ring she's got her three signatures, I don't know what they're called now, the Paige Turner, Rampaige and Bull's Angelito - a decent enough short match can be cobbled around those. She's got that 90s Joshi aggression to her work which is a plus but when you compare her movement, striking, transitions to the best and smoothest female workers she doesn't compare well.

TK's got his work cut out getting value for money out of her. And you just know if she falls down the card or isn't featured heavily on TV she'll be complaining on social media.
