Is Rock vs Cena trash talk ruining the WM main event
Why are they pushing a Rock vs Cena rivalry if there not gonna wrestle? Who is gonna wanna see miz vs. cena when they hype a huge grudge match between rock/cena. Its like there showing us a plate of kobe beef and then are pulling it away and giving us a hamburger.

its all a smokescreen....we are going to get rock vs cena at mania. 100%...this fued has gotten to a point where clearly its gonna be a fight. rock stated he is coming for cena sooner than we think (attacks cena at one of the next 2 raws). Now we might get cena vs miz for the title in the middle of the show...rock causes cena to lose...then cena vs rock to close the show

I think there is a chance, and a slim one, that the feud will get so heated that it will end up being Rock versus Cena at Wrestlemania with Miz defending his title against someone else. Even if WWE doesn't have this in the plans they could make this happen by fan reaction and possibly media attention. Vince's hand could be forced in this scenario.

I still have a feeling all this Cena/Rock stuff is just a setup for the both of them to screw Miz at Wrestlemania kind of like Austin/Tyson was to HBK in 98.

Not a bad idea... if the time of the year was reversed. No way in hell they would have Cena/Rock at SummerSlam over Wrestlemania.
I agree with the OP: it's good to see the Rock back, but he's really taking a dump on the entire roster and completely outshining the WM main event. That really isn't good, and even if he ends up as the special guest ref, it still would leave the Cena/Miz feud itself hanging out in the background.

Miz has become an afterthought. It's a shame really cause it makes the WWE Championship look like a bigger joke than usual. They should've just had Miz feud with someone else or have lost the title @ a previous PPV, and pay Rock whatever it would take to wrestle.

The saddest part is that Miz is doing nothing wrong. He was actually doing a decent job of building the feud tonight but the Cena/A-Ri garbage just destroyed it. A doctors note? Child please.

Not going to lie. Both the Rock were not good tonight. Cena because his promo this week was terrible compared to last week and the Rock because he had a promo that would have been great in the ring but was just mediocre in that style. It's a huge mistake trying to keep rock involved with Cena/Miz this way. The miz can't work on being a heel when everybody cares more about the Rock. Sure the Rock would be great at this in an actual return to wrestling but since he is just a guest and will be gone soon this is just dumb. The booking is even worse. Apparently the Rock (in character) is really bad at time management or really lazy since he could have just interrupted either Cena promo and had a talk. It's just so scripted and isn't going as well as Vince hopes I don't think. Raw is just a mess.

Ruining the Wrestlemania main event match? Ruining it? If anything, it’s actually helping it by far. John Cena/The Rock is history making, all of us are witnessing a once in a life time experience come to life that most of us can only DREAM of happening. The Rock and John Cena in 2011 with their constant public verbal bashing is Wrestlemania quality alone. This is also expose The Miz of how really un-relevant he really is compared to these massive stars in The Rock and John Cena - of course its natural that he will immediately be smacked into the background where real stars take care of business.
Without The Rock presence I can give two shits about Cena/Miz feud which is really a throw away RAW match and after witnessing what’s going on between those two lately, I’m not missing anything where Lawler/Cole rivarly is outshining them. There is nothing “Wrestlemania” feel about John Cena/Miz. Typical RAW throwaway match. Period.

1. The Rock just being advertised has made this a unusually anticipated WM than usual. The buyrates will be legit because of HIS inclusion.
2. Cena started this out of the blue in 2008 and there was gonna have to be consequences for it down the road. He's really gonna hear at WM 27 though..and I feel an ounce of pity for a brown nosing piece of shit like Johnny Boy. As we heard tonight, he went right back to his "POOPY" jokes that you all love and adore so fucking much. LOL.
