Unless I have short term memory or something, it has been a while since the champ end Raw with the last segment or match.

It's cause the show revolves around Cena. Even if Cena was the IC champion, TAG, US, even DIVA's he would still be shown last and this is fact...

Cena is still the face of the WWE. Even if that face is booed out of the building day in and out.

Because he can't draw with midcarders chasing his title. I don't know when will he beat a real maineventer.

Cena says hi.
Cena says distraction, and rope break, in both PPV's.
Even if you think that, but who other than Cena that he beat as a maineventer.

It is strange, considering as the WWE Champion you're supposed to be the most important thing on the brand, However Vince McMahon feels differently - and he will always value Cena over CM Punk.

CM Punk may be WWE Champion, but his feud with Jericho is taking the back seat to Cena's feud with Lesnar.

The only reason Punk still has the belt is because Cena lets him have the belt. Once Cena goes back into the title scene, Punk will be sent back to the upper midcard (where he is right now, really)

No.

Its been like this for months and months. Used to it.

Simple fact is, Cena is 'the guy' and always will be. WWE champion or no WWE champion, Cena is the man.

Does anyone actually think that Cena/Lesnar is going to take a back seat to Punk/Jericho? honestly just think about that one, if Cena was feuding with the Miz or someone other than Rock/Lesnar then Punk should close the show and I'm sure he would but this is Cena/Rock/Lesnar, you gotta be insane to not have those three closing the show.

It's quite easily understood. Punk was closing out Raws back in December, January and the first three weeks of February. Cena was actually taking something of a back seat with the whole ensuing Kane angle. But the last Raw Punk finished out was February 20 in Minneapolis. What did it take to knock Punk out of that slot? The Rock returning.

Punk would probably have resumed closing out Raws in April following Wrestlemania, only thing is, a guy named Brock Lesnar showed up and now Cena/Lesnar is the (a) angle by a wide margin just as Cena/Rock was the (a) angle by a wide margin the moment Rock returned on February 27th.

He's been cast in the shadow of returning superstars in Rock and Brock and their respective programs with Cena.

Didn't we already know this?

The last time Punk was the closer of the show, we got ratings like 2.9, 2.8, 2.7. Dude was like a tumor that was, fortunately, dealt with before it became critical.

Order was only restored when they reset Cena's segments to close the show.

It's shocking that the other week, David Otunga was in the main event and the WWE championship match was contested at the start of the second hour.

Pretty much this but I do think Kane and Cena closed out the show quite a bit too.

Punk taking a back seat was pretty much unavoidable because of who Cena's been feuding with.

Yes, Kane/Cena closed Raw several times during that period, too, like the Raw where Kane shoved Zack Ryder off the stage in the wheelchair and a few others.

But indeed, the level of the stars Cena's been feuding has eclipsed Punk as far as what the top program/angle on Raw is since the end of February.

The biggest feud should always close RAW. At the moment, that is Cena/Lesnar.
