Warrior was not a wrestling fan & I'm sure had very little interest in flying half way round the world to make a dime, he was and still is a very rich man, he saved his money and didn't need to whore himself out to make a dollar like Hogan has to now. He only returned back to WWE several times after Linda McMahon begged him to, that should tell you the real story over the hack job of that DVD WWE tried to put out and have been grovelling ever since to put him in the HoF. That tells me enough.
Earthquake was the new monster heel, yes that is who Warrior should have been fighting, not Rick Rude in a feud that had been done to death a year before.
Hogan wanted to take a break back in 1990, he was trying to do his movie career, of course McMahon needed a new star and despite what hindsight might tell you, Warrior was the obvious and right choice. You can write a whole story on why it didn't work, but it wasn't the wrong decision at the time.
