I hope ICU is not Larry D.

Tapings seem fine but with Swan injured and Cage injured\leaving they need stars asap. Time to get those check books just like RoH and MLW did.

IMPACT LAS VEGAS UPDATE, NOAH, SHAMROCK WANTS SUZUKI & MORE IMPACT WRESTLING NOTES
By Mike Johnson on 2020-02-08 09:40:00
Last night's Impact Wrestling taping in Las Vegas was the strongest attendance the promotion has had since running SamsTown Live. Tonight's taping is completely, 100% sold out in advance but there are tickets available for Sunday's taping.
In regard to the promotion's working agreement with Pro Wrestling NOAH, we are told that promotion's recent sale has no bearing on the agreement.
Ken Shamrock, meanwhile, wants to wrestle New Japan's Minoru Suzuki:
KEN SHAMROCK

@ShamrockKen
If Suzuki is looking for a challenge, I’ll give him the Pancrase style match he’s looking for https://twitter.com/njpwglo...
NJPW Global

@njpwglobal
'Can he grapple? No. Is he tough? No. Strong? No. He can't do s**t. But that's what has made him.'
It's no holds barred in our Minoru Suzuki interview, and it isn't just Jon Moxley in his sights! King of America? Minoru Suzuki’s war on Moxley (1/2) | NEW JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING #njpw #njnbg

Tonight's tapings in Las Vegas soldout and they're going head to head against NXT in Las Vegas tonight thats impressive. And NXT hasn't soldout they still have hundreds of tickets left for the Vegas show tonight.

Why the fuck are TJP and fallah wrestling the tag team champions 3 times and not a single one of them have been for the titles?

And the Impact world title is now up for grabs for other women aside from Tessa?

Lol this fucking company.

Because TJP and Bahh earned their title match after beating champions in a non title match.

Taya beat Tessa twice, that sshould be enough to grant her a title match.

It's not this "fucking company". It's this fucking "fans" who don't follow the product but only read spoilers and bitch online.

Yep, was just posting the same when got notification of a reply to thread.

TJP & Bahh vs North has been good build so far. With Bahh vs Alexander next week, then TJP vs Page here on Night 1 and tag match on Night 2, that would be the 3 wins TJP mentions. Classic booking 101 is pinning champion(s) in non title to earn a shot.

As for Tessa vs Taya, I actually hoped it would happen post Hard to Kill due to Taya's long reign from pinning Tessa, and Tessa vs Taya has always been great. Interesting to see that they're going with Elgin vs Edwards vs Tessa for Rebellion. I wonder if Tessa will drop here due to being a 3 Way and not needing to be pinned. Hoping she wins though and we get her vs Sami build towards Lock down Impact+ Special.

Overall, Impact has been going great again this year and I'm pleased they are taking risks like Tessa's reign as its great seeing something different.

Impact needs to jettison a bunch of dead weight:
Ken Shamrock
Disco Inferno
Sabu
Acie Romero
Reno Scum
oVe (keep Callihan)
The Deaners
Desi Hit Squad
Tommy Dreamer

Dreamer, Sabu, and Shamrock are washed up and the rest just plain suck. I fast forward through their matches.

Jake Something is good though.
With all the injuries and departures I don't get why they don't pus Xavier, Mack, Jake and Fulton as singles.

I don't get the booking of Rascalz, Moose and Fulton. They should be in a strong upper midcard.

I've been a big Impact fan since the beginning, and supported Tessa winning the World title. I have an issue with her now defending the World title against other women. If this continues, then what is the point of the women's title and their division if the men's World heavyweight championship is being defended against male and female?

Not all women want to wrestle with men, so they have womens title.

Not all men want to wrestle with women, so they leave the company.

Equality is tough you know.

I think it's great that Impact lets women who want and can wrestle to prove themselves against guys. And I think it is also great that women who do not want to do that have their own division. Impact handled it all well in my opinion until they decided that Eli Drake is not allowed to a storyline he doesn't feel like doing. But this is more of a society problem than Impact Wrestling problem.

Taya is not "any woman", she has a history with Tessa. So far the booking seems fine to me. Let's bash them if and after they fuck it up.
