Last night's episode of TNA Impact scored a 1.21 rating, which was down slightly from last week's 1.22 rating.

The show averaged 1.63 million viewers, which was also down slightly from last week's 1.65 million viewers.

The demographics were a key issue last week for Impact's ratings increase. The demographics are also a key to the ratings this week.

TNA scored relatively strong ratings among males 18-34 and males 18-49 this week. Last week's numbers were weak in Spike's key demographic.

Also, the sudden increase in younger males 12-17 last week disappeared this week. It coincided with a decline in younger males watching MTV's "Jersey Shore" this week after last week's expanded audience for the premiere.

The following is a week-to-week break down of the demographics in Spike's three key male demos.

Males 18-49 (up 27.5%)
Aug. 5: 1.11
July 29: 0.87

Males 18-34 (up 12.3%))
Aug. 5: 0.82
July 29: 0.73

Males 12-17 (down 34.7%)
Aug. 5: 0.79
July 29: 1.21
