The 11/25 Thanksgiving edition of Impact did a 0.85 rating with 1,262,000 viewers. Obviously, that is way off of what they were doing in recent weeks. They did get big competition from the New York Jets-Cincinnati Bengals game on the NFL Network, which did a 6.98 rating and 7,106,000 viewers. That was up from the previous week's game, which did a 6.7 rating but only 5,418,000 viewers. What it means is that even though the rating for the game only rose slightly in the rating, the viewership number rose significantly due to less people actually watching TV on Thanksgiving night. TNA doesn't have to worry about this number, as long as it is not the start of a trend.

Reaction did a 0.53 rating with 681,000 viewers.Recent Ratings

It was one hell of a show, that main event was probably the best one in a while. But given the day, it could be a lot worse

Nothing to worry about. Im sure they will go up to 1.1 next week. But its still the lowest Thanksgiving rating for them since going to Thursdays.
Previous Thanksgiving ratings :

2009: 0.91
2008: 1.12
2007: 1.0
2006: 0.86

They went against the NFL...3 entertaining games...Patriots, Saints, Cowboys, Jets, T.O., Ocho, you can't fault them for the drop...it'll be alright, they go up against Vick this Thursday though so it might not be back to where it was...

Pats/Lions and Cowboys/Saints were over by the time Impact started. Lol.
Did you not see me mention the Jets and Bengals...

The moral of my post is that it was football thursday...those two games got everybody's attention and kept it because they were so entertaining. It doesn't matter when the hell they were over. They kept everybody's attention and carried it over to the Jet/Bengals game.

Products no where near being intriguing right now. At all.

They had potential when the angle started, but now I even have no interest in watching.

Bring back Angle and Anderson. The show severely lacks without them.

The show revolving around Immortal and Fortune with Morgan being the top babyface = snoozefest.

Just proves that the TNA Originals are overrated by the IWC.

There was too much time spent at the Thanksgiving party last week. If it were fun or intriguing, it might have been okay. But it wasn't.

Some of the storylines being run now are dead weight. No one wanted Team 3D to feud with each other. RVD is basically wasted fighting with Rhino. Even the Impact zone didn't care about Sarita vs Madison or MMA JJ (though I actually didn't greatly mind the latter last week, but whatever.) And what kind of writers have Kaz doing main mic work in a stable that includes Roode and Storm?

It wouldn't have rated highly anyway given the holiday, but the show was largely boring to boot.

Has nothing to with the originals. The booking as a whole is complete junk. Team 3D and EV2 is the worst part about the show, and they aren't originals by any means. Not to mention Jeff Jarrett trying to be a fighter. THAT'S GARBAGE!

TNA really needs new writers, more than ever before. I don't think the product's been so uninteresting EVER.

I can say with confidence, that the TNA product right now is the worst it's ever been in my honest opinion.

So basically what you're saying is that once those games were over people were expected to switch to TNA Impact...
If they cared about TNA Impact, then yes.

Cant look too much into the ratings. But of course the shows are lackluster right now, nothing that will make the ratings go up week after week. They just need to do something to get people talking about them again. Their shows just arent doing that right now.
