I disagree as I think Miz needed the title a little more as he really needs a character refresh, but I will say Swagger needs to be featured more than he has been. I like Swagger and I think Swagger could easily be an upper midcard/jobber to the stars and could put over face champions thanks to his size. Jack Swagger is really solid in the ring and would be good fodder for a short feud with Cena or Sheamus in one of the quieter months.

Look at this beautiful chemistry between Christian and Swagger. We would have gotten a much better match and a much better champ. And Jack Swagger could having GREAT matches with the new breed of talent. Can't believe Swagger went from this great heel who could get heat without even trying to losing in 6 seconds against Brodus.

Swagger has even less credibility then miz.Not the kind of person to make the IC belt mean something.Yes the match would of been better but swagger is a flat out jobber.Christian should of kept it for a few more months.
Christian should have never lost it though, that's the thing. If it was someone like Cody Rhodes I'd be glad, because it'd mean he is slowly but surely moving up the card. But all this means is he will most likely find himself directionless once again, which is so unfair considering the lesser talents that are getting more consideration.

I do agree with you to an extent. When I was watching it happen my friend asked me why I was sad, because he knows I am a fan of The Miz. I explained that this is probably the last belt that Christian will have for the remainder of his WWE tenure, and it was a bit of a downer.Christian should have never lost it though, that's the thing. As much as I like swagger talent in the ring, I can't tolerate him on the mic. And IMHO I prefer Miz over swagger any day. Im a miz mark, but I just Honestly think he offers a better overall package than swagger

I wasn't impressed at all by Miz's back stage fallout promo, it was the same Miz before he left to do movies. If we don't get a Hollywood gimmick out of the Miz, then I see him having no direction in no time at all.I do agree with you to an extent. Swagger would be a horrible choice, the guy's a total joke with no credibility at all at this point. He wouldn't have made the match that much better anyways considering it was only 5 minutes long. Christian/Miz was perfectly fine and Miz is a sound choice to be the new IC champion. Swagger can continue to rot on Superstars as far as I'm concerned.

I don't agree at all. Swagger has zero credibility right now. A Curt Hawkins or Yoshi Tatsu reign is more believable at this point. Hell, even Chavo when he was in his feud with Hornswoggle would be more believable.

I'd rather swagger bring some....anything back to the US title with a us title win. Then a face turn and become the all american us champ.
So we go from Rhodes' top-10 length title reign to Big Show (becoming Triple Crown and Grand Slam champion as a result), to Christian (also a Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion beforehand) to er..Swagger? (who had been jobbing the past few months).
I'm going to have to compare Swagger and Miz and unfortunately for Jackie boy the only advantage he has is in-ring.

Booking wise, it would have been a terrible choice to have Jack Swagger dethrone Christian of the IC title. As if his United States Championship run earlier this was wasn't proof enough. Having The Miz win it was the better choice long term, especially considering the recent news of WWE starting to utilize the IC title more on Raw over SD now.
